Walking on the bridge alone
I remember the face of your own
Walking by the bridge with me
Dancing with everything you may see
Looking at the stars at night
Telling me there's no need for light
With plenty already up there
And within nature that you so much care
Smiling with all your might
Telling me you are also the light
Staying here on Earth for me
To teach me things in life with glee
Nothing lasts forever in our worldBut we never had to be curled
Curled inside our limits
Like the man, to earn, deletes
I wonder what it was
That drove us into a loss
Of what was really here
And made us form only tears
I wish you could hear me now
But it isn't something I can vow
For we all know that wishes are thoughts
And it sometimes cannot be taught
Taught into life so that it can learn
And continue to try to turn
And learn from things to actually act
Like it isn't just made up of facts
But life just isn't fair that way
And you had to leave a different way
But I will always remember you
Telling me the words about you
That you never actually belonged here
But you would always stay near
Because you belonged with the light
That shined its brightness during the night
