The apartment was silent after getting the two boys settled into their beds, both of the parents ignoring their questions. They sat a few feet apart on the couch after changing into more comfortable clothes, no words being exchanged between each other during the changing process.

Changbin slowly looked over to Felix who was leaning against the arm of the couch with a blanket over him. "Babe...we can't sit in silence," Changbin said with a gentle chuckle and crawled over, removing the blanket to squish himself next to the sulking male. "And you can't ignore me forever."

"I'm not ignoring you."

Changbin shook his head with a smile. "Sure," He said and Felix glared at him. "Don't glare at me, I didn't do anything wrong," Changbin said with a gentle scoff as he sat up. "I know," Felix mumbles and attempts to hide but Changbin stops him. "Stop so we can talk," Changbin said and Felix huffs. "Lix, I'm here for you now, you have to talk about things that are bothering you," Changbin said and Felix stared at him. "I'd rather keep it to myself," Felix said and Changbin shook his head. "Last time that happened, nothing good happened out of that," Changbin said.

"Stop bringing up things from the past, it's getting annoying."

"And you shutting me out is getting annoying."

"I lived with only kids and I was surrounded by older people! Do you expect me to open up to people easily after three years of being away?"

Changbin's eyes widened at the outburst. "I'm not expecting anything out of you, I just want to know what's bothering you," Changbin said as he grabbed Felix's hand. Felix stared at him and quickly removed his hands as he stood up. "Babe," Changbin said with a sigh as he followed the action. "It seems like you're expecting a lot out of me," Felix said as he turned to face him, "I know you're trying to help but it feels like you're forcing things out of me."

Changbin frowned at his words. "You should've..." Changbin slowed his sentence in Felix's eyes. "Don't," Felix scoffed and got a sigh from Changbin in response. "I don't mean to sound like that, but I'm worried, am I not allowed to be worried?" Changbin asks and Felix's shoulders tensed up and he almost shrunk into himself, his tone becoming small. "I..." Felix trailed off and he walked towards the kitchen with Changbin following behind.  "Babe, am I not allowed to be worried?" Changbin asks as he slipped next to the male, putting his arm around his waist with his hand placed on the counter. "You are...but..." Felix said and groaned, leaning his elbows on the table and sighing.

Changbin smiled at him and kissed the back of his head. "But what?" Changbin said and Felix stood up. "Nothing, I forgot," Felix said and Changbin hummed. "I'm sorry for yelling, I didn't mean it," Felix said and Changbin chuckled. "It's fine, you're frustrated and I get it," Changbin said and rubbed his back. "You also seem tired, so let's get to bed, and if you want to talk about it tomorrow, we can," Changbin said and Felix hummed, yelping the next second when Changbin scooped him up, Felix resting his head on his shoulder in response.

Changbin walked the distance to their new shared bedroom and let Felix get down from his arms, watching him walk towards the bed and crawl into it. Changbin followed after a few seconds and laid down. "Has your lab figured out how to tell how much power is left inside you?" Felix asks and Changbin shrugged. "I don't know, but I'm assuming they are because Minho and Seungmin haven't been at headquarters recently."

Felix snickered as he rolled over, mumbling under his breath, "you admitted it."
