Eva and Loki walk into the kitchen to see Thor tending to his wounds. "Brother, let me help." Eva says quickly as she rushes to his aid. "No, I'm fine. Just let me be, Eva." Thor grunts in reply. "Sorry." Eva whimpers as she blinks back tears. All she wanted to do was help her brother but ended up being snapped at again. "Uhm, Loki said you wanted to see me?" she then says as she composes herself. "Yes. We need your help. Today's particular mission didn't go as we planned. Wanda has been taken and we need your help to bring her back." Thor says. Eva stares at him in shock. Her friend has been kidnapped. "How can I help? It's not like I'm as powerful as either of you. What could I possibly bring to the group?" she asks, her doubts blinding her.

"Well, I need you to look into the future to see what will happen. We need to know how to stop them." Thor grunts as he finishes wiping the blood off his face. "Brother, her powers don't work that way." Loki tries to defend but is cut off. "I don't care. You will do it, Eva. For the good of the team." Thor says, a mean glint in his eye. "But I don't even know if I can. I've never forced it before. What if it goes wrong?" Eva exclaims, her cheeks blushing from the sheer panic she is feeling. "For Odin's sake Eva! You will do it or so help me I will..." Thor starts to yell. He stops himself as Natasha, Tony, Bucky, Sam, Rhodey, and Steve enter the room to see what's going on. Eva can't help but stare at their injuries.

"What's going on in here?" Tony asks, a confused and slightly concerned look on his face. "It's nothing, really, it's just a minor disagreement." Loki says, trying to diffuse the situation. "Eva is refusing to help us." Thor grunts, sending his sister a dirty look. "I never said that. I've just never looked into the future on purpose before. I was expressing my concerns." Eva defends, her anger towards her brother growing. "Wait, you can do that?" Sam asks in shock. "It comes to her in visions. Usually when she is very relaxed. They're quite vague and they're mostly about her own life." Loki chimes in, helping the group to understand the extent of her powers. "Eva you're being ridiculously selfish. We put ourselves through much worse than this every single day. Why can't you just do what I tell you to?" Thor yells.

That's when Eva flips. How dare her brother say that to her. She has spent her entire life in his shadow with Loki. It wasn't going to happen anymore. "Selfish? I'm selfish? After everything you have put me and Loki through, you have the nerve to call me selfish? First of all, you chose to live your life the way you do, your highness. Father loves you the most and raised you to believe that the sun shines out of your fat behind. Loki and I have had no choice but to stay in the background. Second of all, you've never allowed me to use my powers like this so what makes it acceptable for you to demand so much of me? I've spent my entire life listening to your orders. 'Eva, go and find Loki and leave me alone', 'Eva, stay out of the way. Today is very important for me', 'Eva, hide your wings, you're embarrassing me'." she yells, stepping closer to her brother every time she mockingly quotes him. "I can't believe after everything I have done for you, hiding myself away from people so your reputation doesn't faulter, you can call me selfish with no remorse. You are ridiculously naïve, brother. But guess what, I'm going to do as you ask, like always. Because I will always do what is asked of me. But I'm not just doing it for you, or your team. I'm doing it to save my friend." She finishes before storming out of the room. Her blood is boiling and, as Loki said, she has to be relaxed for her powers to work.

She barges into her room, slamming the door, before using her powers to tie some vines around the doorknob to stop anyone from getting in. She flops onto her bed, feeling immensely embarrassed that she exploded in front of everyone. Tears start to sting her eyes as her mind takes her back to all of the times that she had been pushed out by Thor whilst they were growing up. She tries to focus on the memories she has with Loki. Imagining his comforting arms wrapped around her and his ill attempts at humour soon sends her into a deep sleep, her emotions having exhausted her.
