Hell hath no fury

Chapter 1

Somewhere in France. A mexican supermarket had a TV on relaying the latest bombing news to the people.
"...recently the Russians have been growing more and more impatient, last night they bombed the popular bar on A district and the casualty count went as high as 500 this mostly includes teenagers. The local police officers made a statement today and says the bombing was done very discreetly and till now they've been unable to capture the culprits. Well that's all for now, I'm Billy Jones and this new was brought to you by French TV."
The broadcast ended and immediately characters erupted below;
"Is our country still safe now? I mean 500 people died yesterday probably even more who knows if I'll be next"
"Is it too late to escape?" A timid voice said
"Idiot don't you know the whole country has been lockdown? Besides who will want to help us? They'd rather take benefits to themselves than help"
"Can't you have more faith in our country?"
"If only we could give them a good face slapping if we're able to turn this situation around, they've grown more arrogant after taking the lead in the development of  nuclear bombs..."
Meanwhile in an hospital a female surgeon along with her team just completed an amputation surgery now they were on their way to visit the patients friend.
"The surgery was successful but he will have to spend some time at the hospital so the nurses can keep an eye on him cause there is a possibility the leg can get infected and please visit the pharmacy and get this—" she took out a list of drugs "—list of a drugs"
"Thank you" The man said coldly and left
Charlotte sighed as she listened to what her team was saying;
"Isn't he just a feast for the eyes" one of them said dreamily
"Yeah... A real man candy but his aura is chilly to the extreme I felt like he could freeze me into an iceberg"
"Alright enough gossiping guys, you wouldn't want him to hear you right?" Charlotte said
With that they shut up and Charlotte  finally got the peace and quiet she needed. As she walked back to her office she couldn't help but think
'Things are getting out of hand and the casualties that the soldiers are facing are increasing i think its high time i join the war, hmm...so far I've performed 175 Cardio thoracic surgeries, over 500 general surgeries, 130 emergency and urology surgeries in the past 2 years not bad'
she chuckled to her self
Then she finally walked into her office and gracefully sat in her chair and booted her laptop as it was breaking time she all the time to think
With her fair hand supporting her chin she thought  'Is this a good choice?' She asked her self
'Forget it I'll just give it my call' she said to herself with determination
By this time her computer had already finished booting then her slender fingers flew across her keyboard as she skillfully hacked into the army's network as relaxed she looked now some people were destined to not be able to relax
In a bustling building
A voice said
"Alert! Alert! Intruder"
One of the computer experts who was busy taking a break spat out his coffee and immediately got to work as time passed on a solemn look appeared on all the experts faces, finally their firewall was broken apart and all the computers went black
A deadly silence followed 5minutes later there computers went back to normal but no one dared to sign in relief as the expressions on their faces was severe. Finally someone said
" I will go and inform the boss about this"
after the person left chaos erupted
" I can't believe someone was actually able to break through the bosses firewall so easily" someone exclaimed
"Yeah.. even i can't wrap my head around it either"
"Best you guys shut up, remember what happened to the last guy who spoke behind boss's back?"
Someone said
Everyone shivered and quickly got back to their business.
Back at the hospital the person who caused all the top computer hackers trouble was currently stretching her back lazily while licking lolipop while saying
"That was kinda smooth"
Before glancing at the wall clock opposite her when she saw the time there her eyes widened
"Shit"
she cursed as she quickly packed her bag and hurried down the stairs to the parking lot on her way several.doctors and nurses who saw her greeted her respectfully after all she was like idol to them, when she finally got to go the parking lot she quickly spotted her car and got in and started driving as she drove she started making plans
"First thing tomorrow she would resign and join the army's medical sector using her impeccable medical skills and if absolutely necessary her computer skills she didn't dare to imagine what the government would do to her if they discovered that she was the one who hacked into their network, they might even mistake her to be a spy
"Enough thinking let me get a good night sleep so I'll be full of energy tomorrow"
she said as she cheered herself on.
Finally she parked her car at her apartment and walked into her room as she looked around she couldn't help but feel a bit lonely before she sighed and walked to a hidden compartment and pulled out a shot gun after that she simply threw it into a briefcase filled with the most basic and latest surgical equipment along with a first aid box then she threw in some medical magazines to read during her free time after she was satisfied she went downstairs again and placed the briefcase in the back seat then trudged upstairs again and threw her self unto her bed and fell asleep.
Early the next morning Charlotte woke up with a start and her normally easy going face was tense and her face deadly pale she lay there helplessly for some minutes before finding her way to bathroom after an arduous shower she threw on a pair of khaki trousers, a white shirt and boots. After she was done dressing up she looked at the calender and her face instantly froze before she calmed her self down but the chilly air around her didn't  decrease instead it intensified. While having breakfast she was still absentminded and cold all the way to the hospital she remained that way on her way to the chief she met and annoying fly and just ignore her as soon as she saw her unfortunately that annoying fly saw her and chased after her
"Hey, half breed"
a very familiar voice called out
Charlotte paused in her steps then continued walking as if she didn't hear her
"Hey, I'm talking to you half breed I heard you want to resign you probably want to betray our country with the information you have"
she sneered
Murmurs broke out of course not because of what she said but of my retirement.
Charlotte's cat like eyes narrowed into slits as a chilling look was directed at the idiot who said that, of course the annoying fly was called cynthia who was just a jealous nonsensical doctor. Charlotte was obviously having a bad day as a storm was forming above her head and this retard just had to disturb her peace when the people around her saw this expression on her face they silently lit a candle for Cynthia's funeral.
Cynthia felt like she was freezing under Charlotte's gaze and subconsciously took a step back when she realized what she had done she felt like her face was burning as she felt the eyes that looked at her with pure disdain in their eyes she couldn't take it any longer and ran away. Charlotte took back her gaze  after she was no longer in hers sight with a answer at the corner of her lips she nodded to the people around her and walked briskly to the chief's office
After she left the doctors started mumbling among themselves while she was unaware and even if she was she probably wouldn't even care
"hey, did anyone notice that Charlotte was a little cold today?"
"Yeah" then the doctor who replied went in with uncertainess in his tone as he asked "could it be that time of the month?"
Instantly everywhere went silent as everyone mused over it until one of them spoke up
"When my wife says her aunt flo has arrived you know that the best thing to do us to flee cause her mood changes faster than flashing lights" The doctor said fearfully.
For some reason everyone broke into a cold sweat as if the person they were talking about was listening to their every word
"I have a patient to check on"
"Me too"
"Yeah, don't forget me!"
Soon everyone dispersed and there was peace and quiet.
Meanwhile in the chief's office there was no peace instead the office was solemn while Charlotte just stared at the chief with an empty gaze. The chief felt like a fish out of water and she couldn't but choke a little as she thought 'this gaze of hers is scary' she coughed a little to get back her attention, Charlotte gazed back at her emotionlessly before retracting her gaze while Mrs Adu  feeling bewildered as she thought"Is she having a bad day or what"
Mrs Adu looked at her with a complicated gaze before saying "Ms charlotte i understand that you wish to resign but i need a good reason for your resignation"
Almost Immediately the reply came " To join the army"
Mrs Adu was shocked before she regained her composure and asked "Why?"
"None of your business" she snapped
An awkward expression surfaced on Mrs Adu's face before she sighed although she was unwilling to let her go she had to respect her decision before she then handed her the resignation documents
5 minutes later Charlotte left the office with the same gloomy Face she walked in with. Charlotte quickly walked down the stairs then started her car and drove in the direction of the army.
