Beautiful magic

*Six*

This part of the forest seemed to come alive once everyone knew it was ok, the sprites lifted up into the air making there flower like bodies fly everywhere as they curiously swarmed us, the small sounds meaning they where chatting like crazy, most where the size of cans of soup, others could be as small as car keys, they where amazing flyers, and unbelievably beautiful,

A bigger sprite flew up, her purple and white body fitting perfectly on Emi's shoulder, making me smile, Ozara was queen of the sprites in this forest she was a good friend so i knew she was trying to make Emi happy.

Soon a little group of nine other wood nymphs melded out of the trees, there bodies mixes of greens, browns, yellows, oranges, and some red, laughing they swarmed Sage, she was like a leader to them, of course nymphs where a dwindling species they weren't in any danger just yet, but with humans tearing everything down they where killing countless nymphs and other supernatural.

Right after the nymphs came some of the Elves that lived close to me here, their species was almost in danger as well, but most Elves lived in the Elf forest that was located in Ireland, the queen helped my mom build this forest as a sanctuary for us and any who we let in, a few of my moms close friends came to live here with her and they have families, of course no one could cross our borders without permission with the witch and Elf magic combined, it was almost invincible.

The Elves where amazing people, Nicolion, or as i call him Nico was around six four, with pale white hair that he wore down so it reached to the back of his knees, you could see his slightly pointed ears as we walked closer, a bright smile on his face.

I smiled at the sight of the few supernatural that where in this area of the forest, of course there was more, but they where spread out across the large sanctuary and i wasn't gonna make them all gather in one place, that only happens once a month, but only a few species actually lived in the forest.

"Uncle" Nico walked up in front of us looking down at Emi with curiosity, "wow Arden, this is Emi right?" He seemed a bit shocked.

"Yea, why?"

"Her powers are in, she seemes to be an empath, or something similar, i can tell she can feel our feelings, shes already doing well at filtering everyones though, i mean most would lock themselves away but shes standing right there having fun" he was amazed.

Of course Emi didn't even notice him as she played with the sprites, gigging as they twirled around her, she seemed completely entranced.

"Thats what i thought, but i think she also has some mind abilities, and an element, or at least thats what i feel from her"

I stated looking at Nico causing him to nod "You two are powerful witches, especially you, but she can only do a portion of what you can, im sure she'll gain more as she fully matures, honestly im pretty sure no one will be as strong as you, your power seemes to have no limits, you can go from necromancer magic to healing, elements, mind, spirit and creation any time you want"

I rolled my eyes, i was not all powerful, i was just me, "ok well i think its finally time to relocate, now that Emis powers are in i wont have to worry to much about keeping her in the human world, so we wont need the money anymore, but we should talk inside" i pointed over to the cabin.

Nico got a thoughtful look across his face "Alright then i believe I'll call everyone thats in charge of their species over so we can discuss where we will go next, its been almost twent years since we last moved the forest"

I nodded as he turned and walked twords the cabin, i looked at Sage "hey Sage can you watch Emi, make sure she is careful"

Sage and the rest of the nymphs looked up and nodded, they where all gonna watch her, i kinda expected that they all liked children, "yea, you know i dont really mind where we go, I'll pretty much agree with you, its not like we are really affected by the weather unless we want to be so i dont care where we go"

"Ok, thanks you guys" i smiled at them walking twords the cabin making sure to take my food from the diner with me, there was no way i would leave it behind.

I pushed the door open walking in, the inside lights were on, everytime i walked in here it reminded me of the harry potter movie i saw, this was just made first, the outside of the cabin looked like it barley was big enough for one room, but the inside was a different story.

The door closed behind me as i started up the spiral stair case to the second floor, wich was actually not fully a second floor with walls and all that, but a platform with railings that stretched over the the large island kitchen, and the dinning room, this one was like a meeting room i could make it sound proof, and still watch the house or if we wanted extreme privacy i could just make temporary walls.

There was another platform that sat above the rooms and bathrooms and that was like the game room, of course i sealed the rooms and bathrooms so no peeking could happen, that would just be creepy, i know its big for me but its how it was when my mom was alive, she had it this way i just kept it.

Plus sometimes the children from around the forest liked to stay here, but i think alot of the families are gonna have to move in here once we relocate, i wanna keep them safe just incase.

When i looked up the round table was almost full so i stepped to the side above the kitchen, and used my magic to get the usual drinks, and snacks, they floated from the fridge up to me causing me to smile as i pushed them to land infront of everyone, i made sure to keep my basket of food away from them.

I sat down in the main chair and looked around, popping a cheesestick from the diner in my mouth, everyone was talking with each other as we waited for the last few people to arive.

To my right sat Nico, he was the Elfs representative, then Yuna the werecat rep sat on my left, next to her sat Quinn he was the water nymph rep, i continued looking around the table, Ozara sat on the table in her usual sprite form, if she wanted to she could enlarge her body so she would be as tall as a human, but she always said it took to much energy.

Then there was Killian, him and his family where vampires, the only ones here, and they dont feed on humans or animals, they prefer to drink the blend me and the Elves made for them, they claim its better then either blood, so that was good.

Kazi, he was a fallen angel, but he got kicked out for helping humans, he absolutely despised violence, unless its to protect us, so he asked to stay here, i granted him our protection, he was by far the oldest out of us, he kinda became a father figure to everyone here, it was nice.

I saw lana walk up the stairs and take the last seat next to Nico, she was a banshee, just because they could predict death doesnt mean they wanted to at all.

Everyone here in the forest has their own story to be told, some are the last few of their species and are here to be safe, some took shelter because they where different from others of their kind, but everyone is here because they want to be, we where a big comunity, tightly knit together.

We only had eight species of living supernaturals here, but there was around one hundred and seventy eight of us, there was exactly 100 sprites for them it was like a tradition to never go above that number.

One fallen, twenty werecats, twenty two Elves, three banshees, twenty six Nymphs, four vamps, and two witches.

This was our place, full of magic and some regular animals as well, we protected it with everything we could, and im so happy Emi will now be able to experience this.
