I don't have a choice but to wait till I get a cheaper bus and it's getting late.
" Oh baby shey you no go like enter motto abi you wan sleep for here today"
" Leave that one oh na customer she dey find"
" I no believe say small girl like this go be runs girl" I over heard two of the hoodlums talking referring to me, so started walking away from that spot while replying them " na your mama be runs girl".
I checked the time on my wrist watch
" God!!! I've been here for almost two hours, lemme keep walking forward by the time I get to the next bus stop I might get a cheaper bus". I started getting frustrated and it's getting dark
" Don't this people have houses abi why are they much like this and it's As if once one set goes another set comes out " a fellow frustrated trekker complained, in Lagos you can make friends from trekking because most time you would come across the same face while trekking, you would see different people, hear stories of people complaining of how their lives are shit, or complaining of the government, talking about football, you would see people selling stuffs or trying to sell stuffs different.
I just nodded I didn't reply her and kept walking. I heard a familiar voice calling my name
"Ella,Ella , where are you going to by this time" brother chucks asked. Brother chucks is a friend of my family, he comes to our house almost every weekend I am very sure my parents sees him as one of their children.
" Good evening brother chucks, I'm going home ohh, but no bus I've been trekking for some time "
I replied.

"Ahh that's true and it's late, you know what, I would wait with you till you get a bus my house is just on the next street here"

" Okay, thank you" I replied
So we waited together still the same , 30 minutes more he turned to me

" It's getting late ohh, and at this rate you would get home very late and it's not safe for a young lady to be out, how bout you come and spend the night at my place so you won't have to get home very late just make sure you go home tomorrow"

" Are you sure that's okay? I don't want to inconvenient you"

" No it's okay, after all you are family"

" Okay, thank you"
