Chapter - 1 (Discussion)

As we eat dinner, I noticed that our parent are acting weird. Mom is not as happy or smily as usual , dad is not cracking all of those silly jokes.

The atmosphere felt heavy and strained , dad let out a sigh and he put down his spoon.

Mom also looked up, we keep quite. Our full attention on them .

, " We would like to tell you something, " mom start off, with a heavy heart I listen just like my other siblings .

Expecting a bad news.

," So, in recent years you're grandma health has worsen,as we all know" Dad continue .
Before he finished he was interrupted by Alice.

, " Is she dying? " she asked quietly , her voice barely audible.

, " No, dear. She is not, just a little weak. She will be fine after sometimes, " I feel like she say the last part to herself more than us, she seemed a little daze.

, " So, we were hoping that one of you could move to live with your grandma. We are not forcing you,the choice is yours. We just want you to spend and be near her to relieve her boredom. " Grandma is living away from us. Due to various reason, my parent's job are here so they need to move. But, grandma want to stay. So, we hired a caretaker, nurse and some other helper for her before leaving.

Seeing my siblings hesitation, I reply on impulse,"I'll go, her place seem fun so," my parent smile in happiness, not really thinking any of us would want to go.

I understand their dilemma, like we already start school and all the paperwork needed to be done.

And moving to a new town, with no friends. And the studies, first semester is already finished, now it's already second semester. And even if we do move, I will still have to work hard. Their way of teaching could be completely different from ours, adding to the time that i will be needing to fully understand the teacher teaching method and explanation.

Thinking of this, " Mom how about my grades? "

, " Your dad and I will handle it, " she reply with a reassuring smile. Seeing her finally relaxing and her furrowed brow lossened up, I let out a relief breath.

With that I put my mind at ease, I'm really dependent on my parent and they take care of everything that I need and have to be done , and I gladly let them do the work.

I've been wanting to see other places too and moving to a new town is also quite fun. Now, let's debate a more serious issue will I fit in? I hope I make new friends quickly, wait didn't they tell us that we have a cousin.

With that thought I run to the living room.

," Ellina slow down, you will fall again! " I heard dad shout.

, " Okay dad!" I agree , but continue to run. Kids always agree with your mouth , it's easier. Now , looked at the hundred of lecture and scold that I've evaded.

, " Mom! Can you give me the cousin you were talking about number? " I asked her passing her the phone.

Standing still I realized how stupid I was. I could have just called ,mom give it to me and I run back to my room, with my father shout on my back.

Now , how will I start the conversation?

No, no no, I wipe it again and just decided to text her hi. Before, I hit send I delete it again , " Uggghhhhhhh! " you know the feeling where you really wanna talk to someone and is just ashamed to do it due to some reason. That's the feeling.
