As Sage glanced back at the fire that had consumed the two vehicles with the bodies that were meant to represent them, a heavy sigh slipped from her lips. She knew that this was the only true way to get away from Adarius and his cruelty he had planned to set on the world. The female hybrid just hoped she could find her brothers, the true King and Skye before the truth that they were still alive was discovered. As the raven haired woman turned around it was then that she noticed the way everyone in the vehicle was staring at her and Stormy. The redhead had laid her head upon her best friend's shoulder as her eyes flashed between their mismatched blue and silver to the solid gold that appeared when she fed on Sage's blood.

"You know I don't think this will work." Stormy whispered as she closed her eyes, not realizing everyone had seen the flash of the gold appear once again.

"N..Now why would you say that?" Jas asked, curious at what he was seeing within his Queen's own eyes. He had never once seen the sisters feed on blood, the change in her eyes had shocked him let alone gave him just a little more information to go on.

"He, Adarius, doesn't love me. I'm not his true mate." She spoke up as her body started to relax into Sage's side, a small yawn slipping from her lips. "I don't love him; I have my own true mate or mates who knows." Stormy giggled as she felt someone drape something over her.

Alria chose to sit next to the two women, especially after Stormy's fight with her brother, she wanted to show both of them that they could be trusted. However, none of them knew that there was a traitor amongst them. As She had reached over the back seat while listening to Stormy ramble on, Alria had pulled a small jacket out and draped it across her. Reid and the others had watched the whole scene, as Reid watchedhis mate interact with his little sister a small smile made its way to his lips. However, it soon disappeared as he heard the words that left Stormy's mouth and his heart sank, he hadn't known his sister and Adarius were not mates. So that meant that she had been kept from her mate. As he thought about this his mind froze up immediately.

"Wait! So, he took the three of you knowing full well neither of you were his mates!" Reid yelled as he slammed on the brakes. This one action had nearly thrown Sage and Stormy to the floor ofthe suburban. "And what the hell did she mean by she may have two mates?" He growled, not understanding the last part of his sister's ramblings.

Alira held on to the girls as Myla stared at Reid with an annoyance in her eyes, had he really thought that Stormy had married Adarius because they were mates or because they loved each other. As the other female guard moved to the back to sit with her charge she glared at the male behind the wheel.

"You know Reid, you can be really dense sometimes. Do you really think She was that tyrant's mate?" Myla hissed as she nodded to her companions. "We should have stuck with two cars; Stormy may end up minus one sibling before we get there." She hissed under her breath.

Alria shook her head, she hadn't told Reid much of anything, just that his sisters and Sage had been taken by their king, and that Skye had gone missing. Later she filled him in on the fact that the girls had been changed against their will and wanted to escape. As she glanced up at Reid she gave him a slight glare.

"Love I've told you all I can, when your sister is ready..."Alria started to say but was interrupted by Myla and Ryln.

"No, he needs to know the truth!" Myla demanded as she had decided it was enough keeping his highness's most precious guard in the dark.

"Before we go any further, about how ruthless our false king really is and not about what he has done to just your families." Ryln stated as his fangs elongated.

It was a good thing that Jas had chosen to sit in the passenger seat or Reid may have lost his head. The older vampire had no idea what was being hidden from him as he twisted in the driver seat to stare at his mate, Myla and Ryln.
