Lydia quietly walks up the stairs in the Klein household heading towards Dexter's room. She knows her boyfriend is currently out with Scott right now leaving only the younger Klein twin in the house with the elders of the family.

Lydia learned from a young age the dynamic that Dexter and Zoe both had with each other before the supernatural world was thrown on all of them. Zoe was always very quiet and she listened well to what people told her to do while Dexter was loud and while he didn't take well to instructions, if Zoe was asking him something he would do it for her.

Dexter Klein, is the love of her life but sometimes she wonders what would've happened or what will happen when their future approaches and Zoe needs him in New Orleans.

Because Lydia knows that when the time comes, Scott will not be going down to New Orleans right away. No, the two will be states apart as Zoe learns her place in the Mikaelson family.

Lydia loves Zoe and Zoe is her sister, her best friend and each other's shoulder to cry on. She just misses the Zoe before she started to listen to Elijah and the threads. She missed when Zoe was happy and as much as she hated being popular, unlike Lydia and Dexter, she was never one to back down.

That was Lydia's reason for helping Zoe figure out if Stiles was her yellow thread because if it was the other way around or even Lydia's pink thread, Zoe would help her.

"I just don't understand why you gave him that idea?"

Lydia stopped walking as she stared at the door leading into Elijah's office. She heard Zoe's voice yelling instantly making the girl scared of what could be happening. Chewie meowing at her feet made it worse because the cat never left Zoe's side at least in the house.

Lydia wasn't stupid to the case of what the family has grown into. She wasn't caught up like Scott was but that was only because Zoe was taking charge so Dexter can relax. She knew that after college the two were going to have to play a part but they weren't like Scott and Zoe.

They didn't have to start their futures now.

They didn't have to grow up.

Inside Elijah's office, Zoe and her uncles sat together as the three of them talked about her future. Klaus paced the room as both Aetherwitches held a stare down with each other. "I understand wanting Zoe to be happy but,"
