Fire blazed across the ground. What once was a nice town was quickly reduced to rubble. I stood at the feet of a Goliath, too tall to notice a puny guy like me, as it lifted its mammoth sized foot, I barrel rolled under and ran out the other side. Part 2-
THE FIRST SIGN OF HOPE
I had made it, the jump. I climbed all the way to the top but that's when I slipped... I was ready to accept my fate. But then I realised I wasn't falling, my big belt had hung around a bolt. Phew I said to myself, I pulled myself up and finally I got to the door. I held my breath and walked in. A half alien half robot turned around and stared at me. His eyes were twitchy and unsettling, he had a rusty metal plate fused into the side of his head. He ran at me like a psycho, I jumped to the side and hit him in the back of his head and he fell right out the door. I watched as he fell down into the hell below, when he hit the floor green blood splattered everywhere. I walked over to control panel and clicked a bunch of random buttons until something happened, just then the machine started to collapse I held on to the roof and braced for impact, crash. I had somehow survived with only a few cuts and bruises, it was then I realised... there was hope.
PART 3-
THE REVELOUTION
I walked and walked until my feet started to bleed, I fell to my knees and put my head in my hands, I didn't know where I was, where I was going or what i'm doing. I started to question my sanity, how did I take out that Goliath. Just then an army of people were walking towards me they had baseball bats, cyborg heads and a whole load of guns. A young teen girl was standing at the front, she was holding a metal pole with a cyborg head on the end. She walked up to me and pulled me up off the floor and told asked me what was that crash. I thought she'd think I was crazy, but I decided to tell her everything. After, she sniggered "kid like you took out a Goliath, yeah right." They all started to walk away "Wait!" "It's true, you won't find anyone that way for miles, they were all wiped out by the Goliath" she turned around and smirked "prove it!" I went back to Goliath and further on. "Guess the kid was right, hey if you can do that again I want you on the team, what do you say" I hesitated "I don't know, I was trying to find my family, but I guess so"...
