In a blink of an eye, huge spikes of ice emerged from the foot of Todoroki, it submerged sero in it causing him to be immobile, and the spike barely stopped at the face of some of the audience.
His ice is usually controlled

He stood in silence looking at the wall of ice he had just created, he walked over and began melting away the ice around sero. The crowd cheered for sero trying to make him feel better.
For some reason
He didn't seem happy with his victory

The matches carried on as planned, they cleared all the ice that had been left over from the previous match
"The INSANE amount of ice from the second match has finally been cleared tho so it's time to welcome new competitors" Present mic announced over the microphone.
Kaminari began walking on stage as fire erupted at either side of him whilst on the other side of the stage walked the vine girl.
I knew little about her quirk so for this match I was uncertain about the outcome, although kaminari's quirk fries him it is incredibly powerful and could knock a young girl like her out in an instant.
If he plays it smart he can surely win
Both competitors walked to meet in the centre of the arena, where they stood. Read to engage in combat
"BEGIN!" Present mic announced as the audience began cheering
Kaminari began charging up his electricity as he yelled "1.3 million volts!" That's a lot of power, could easily kill someone who wasn't trained enough.
The girl turned around almost as if she was unbothered by his building power, her hair grew to great lengths and it submerged into the ground creating a sort of barrier from the electricity rushing towards her
Her vines seemed to travel through the ground, below the surface of the platform and re-emerged engulfing kaminari in their grasp, they wrapped him up making him immobile
"HE IS IMMOBILIZED, that all folks! It was almost instant!" Present mic announced to the audience
Midnight declared the girl from class B as the winner and the crowd cheered for her overwhelming victory
"Man she's good" Jiro murmured as she looked down at kaminari still immobilized by the girl's vines
"Guess he was right!" Monoma peered over the walls in the stand to talk to our class "that match was over in just two seconds! I wonder if his quirk is the ability to tell the future? Hey wasn't class 1A supposed to be so much better than us? Hahaha" he was cut off by a girl knocking him out, causing him to fall off the wall.
She apologized for his actions and dragged him down back to his seat
Kaminari was taken away by stretcher robots whilst the girl left the arena with people still cheering her on.
As every fight ended I felt Ururaka get tenser as her battle with Kacchan was coming up, her shoulders were raised, her eyebrows scrunched together and she was holding her breath
It wasn't until she heard Midoryia mumbling and writing notes in his book that she let out the breath she was holding, I looked over at him he was talking about their places in the entrance exam and their quirks. Everyone was looking at him as he appeared to forget about everyone's presence around him.
"Maybe you should take a second to relax before planning too many matches ahead" Ururaka reassured him with a smile, he jumped almost forgetting where he was. Surprisingly kacchan didn't tell him to 'shut up' or 'Quit it, damn nerd'. I peered back at him as Midoryia and Ururaka began to speak.
