"Oi! Slow down, Lockhart!"

I didn't gave Viktor a single glance as I ascended in the clouds, letting the harsh wind cut through my face. A single tear threatening to flow down my face as I remember my Mother, she loves to watch me fly with my broom. She always dreamt of me becoming a Quidditch player. I bit my lip and anchored my body lower to meet my glaring brother at me.

Well, technically he wasn't really my brother, rather he is my step-brother. Mother had married Maximo Lockhart, a muggle, after my real father left the both of us. She never said anything about him, even his name, or his blood status. He's a complete stranger. Although I had a hint that he's a muggle because Maximo told me they always meet each other before. Maximo is not always associated with any magic-folks aside from us.

"What did I said about flying, Krum?" Grey spat at Viktor then pulled my broom to help me land. I winced as he started pulling my earlobe, making me follow him inside the house.

"Ouchh! Let me go now or I'll hex you, Grey!"

"Oh don't make me laugh, you're not even allowed to use magic outside, Vi." And he let go of my ear.

I instantly throw the nearest thing my hand grabbed, Viktor's Firebolt. Viktor caught it before it can even land on Grey's smirking face. On the other hand, Viktor doesn't seem pleased, for I almost destroyed his beloved broom. I was about to throw him another thing when Dad, Maximo, interrupted and smacked Grey's head. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Yeah, you folks are about to leave and all you can do is quarrel all day? Thank Merlin that tomorrow is the start of the school year so I don't have to deal with you both!" Dad glared at us before he placed one of the dishes he cooked. If there's one thing I loved in here was the food. He is exceptionally good at cooking. Of course without the use of magic.

"Ah, using magic slang now Dad, eh?" I picked out of him. He winked at me. He may be not my Father but I love him more than anyone, for he took care of me and love me as if I am his own daughter. And he's the man whom my Mother loved most.

"Blame your Mother for saying that to me every day." I nod at him and sat to the chair pulled by Viktor. I crooked my lips to send him a small smile. He's just the sweetest.

Before we can even start eating, a knock on the door was heard. Grey attended to it while Viktor and I were talking. It is probably one of Dad's co-workers.

When I was 11, my Mother wishes to send me at Hogwarts, her previous school. I've heard so much about Hogwarts, but I begged her to send me at Grey's school which is Durmstrang. I don't want to be away from him, Mother didn't want it at first cause it is too far away at house, and of course it's not a secret that Durmstrang teaches Dark Arts. Yet she gave up because I was very persistent about it.

We had difficulty entering since it is an all-boy school, well, until I came. I didn't paid attention on how my Mother managed to convince Headmaster Karkaroff to accept me at his prestige school. I don't even know if she paid him, bribe or promised him something. I couldn't even care less.

When I first attended a class at Durmstrang, I remembered getting weird glares from boys. I had to endure those cat-calling and funny pranks. Being a sibling of the most famous Chaser in the Quidditch Bulgarian Team didn't save me from those horrible experiences.

I remembered getting my shoes hexed at the ground to keep me at place while other students throw foods at me.

While sticking with my brother and his in Durmstrang, I grew fond of someone which is Viktor. He always walks me to classes and my dorm, eats with me, and even studies with me. It's not long until he asked me to be his girlfriend at my 4th year. Who am I to say no? He's branded as the best seeker, gorgeous and a gentleman. I am immensely proud of him as he was chosen as one of the Triwizard Champions last year. And of course, I've heard of Hermione Granger, Viktor said we have many similarities.

"Will you being trying out for Quidditch this year?" I looked at Viktor and laughed. He just rolled his eyes and gave me a muffin. Whilst I was chewing, Grey caught my attention. His face, pale, and his hands were shaking.

"We need to talk Violet, now."

Viktor shot me a curious glare, I just shrugged at him and followed my brother at his room. He was standing in front of the window. Still holding that piece of parchment in his hand.

"What is it, Grey?" He didn't move. I shifted my gaze on his knuckles which were turning white from the firm grip at the paper. Afraid that it would rip, I sighed and grabbed his wrist.

And he finally looked at me, with shaking arms and quivering lips, he pulled me for a hug. I lifted the parchment and read what it says. I broke down.

I won't be studying at Durmstrang anymore.
