Concept
Spirit Tale is an AU where everyone has some sort of spirit or guardian attached to them and depending on whether you get a spirit or a guardian determines what you will do to contribute to the world.
Those that gain a spirit help with minor things and are known to help with evacuations and simple tasks to help the underground. Spirits with level 4 or lower are the weakest and are always the second to safety after the ones without a spirit or guardian when a major event occurs. Levels 5-10 are more capable at doing the jobs provided to them but when a major event occurs they are third to go into shelter and evacuation.
Those that gain a guardian contribute to the main battles and more difficult jobs; these people are more commonly known to most likely be part of the royal guard.  The levels are the same concept for the guardians but connect it to the roles that the people that have guardians take on.
(All levels were done with a picker wheel to make this easier on myself.)

Character Information (S and G's were both given by the wheel)

Grillby: he still owns his bar here you know. He and Sans have been friends since they were kids so it upset him when Sans didn't tell him if had a spirit, guardian or none.
Spirit-> wolf
Muffet: she owns her own bakery and still does little spider bake sales every now and then to increase in popularity.

Undyne: head of the royal guard and has also known the skeleton brothers since she was a kid though she is closer to paps than sans.
guardian-> Angels
Alphys: despite having a low tier spirit she has the position of royal scientist due to her incredible work.

Mettaton: alphys creation and still out to seek fame and popularity.
spirit-> tiger
Asgore: king of the underground. (i have started to lose motivation at this point)
Guardian-> Dragon
Toriel: caretaker of the ruins.
guardian-> Angels
Gaster: The royal scientist, gaster was actually a good father to his children in this world but sadly that does not stop his fate and as most gaster do he fell into the core and is now forgotten by everyone but one.
guardian->werewolf
Papyrus: he's just paps you know the normal stuff but he is part of the royal guard due to having a guardian.
guardian-> pegasus
Sans: he's just sans man no one knows if he even has a spirit or guardian as he never told anyone not even his own brother as time went on everyone believed that he didn't have either and he was fine with that as long as no one knew the truth he was fine.
