*RECAP*
So Kathryn's big sister told her that she should hang out with her friends. Her friends decided they should watch a movie. While she was at home, she had an encounter with Enrique Gil, a.k.a her ex-boyfriend.
Kathryn
We were stuck in traffic, that's why it was a good thing we left at 1:45, which was earlier than expected because of my encounter with...Enrique.
I lied when I told him that I already moved on and I am with Daniel. That is just a cover up so he will hopefully leave me alone. But I have to talk to Daniel soon so that whenever Enrique asks smeone if I really am with Daniel, they woll say yes because they see us habing out tofether. Oh gosh, what did I het myself into.
I walked into the mall where I had a security check. I was finally allowed to go inside the mall. I walked to the cinemas which was quite a long walk, considering that MOA was the biggest mall in Asia.
I went into the cinema and bought 3 tickets. I pulled out my phone to call Julia.
"Hello 'te Juls? Asan ka na?"(where are you?)
"Dito na ako naglalakad na ako diyan at kasama ko na rin si bunso,"(I'm here and I'm walking there and I'm with baby,)
"Oh sige kita na tayo dito sa sine chka nakabili na ako ng tickets,"(okay I'll see you at the cinemas and I already bought tickets)
After two minutes they were there.
I ran up and hugged Liza tightly, then Julia. We went back in line and bought our popcorn and coke. We decided to watchFast and Furious 7.
We got into the theatre part of the cinema.
"Okay, I'm seat 15,"I whispered to myself as I found seat no. 15.
"Girls, selfie muna tayo,"said Julia.(Grls, let's take a selfie first,)
We took many selfies an by the time we were finished, the movie had already begun.
I felt a presnce sit down next to me. I turned my head and saw Daniel.
"Ikaw?"I exclaimed in a quiet tone.(You?)
"Oh, hi Kathryn,"he replied with a calm posture.
"What a coincidence seeing you here again,"he added.
"Oo. Now leave me alone until the movie ends,"I said playfully.(Oo-yes(informal) ]
The movie began and let me tell you, it was sooo awesome. The ending was sad, you know, with Paul Walker being dead. I was on the verge of tears at the end.
My popcorn was barely even touched, and I was Daniel grab a big handful just as I was about to stand up.
"Hey!"I yelled.
"Ano? Parang hindi mo naman kakainin eh,"he answered. (What? Its like you weren't gonna eat it anyways,)
"Kakainin ko yan sana mamaya, pero sayo nalanag nga,"(I was going to eat it later, but take it,)
He reached his hand to take it at the last moment, and I said,"Charot! Wag ka maniwala sa akin pag sinabi ko na iibibigay ko sayo ang pagkain ko. I. Will. Never. Do. That,"(Joke! Don't believe me when I tell you that I will give you my food.)
"Hey! You're being so unfair!"he faked a hurt expression. I began laughing because his expression was so believable.
Not.
"Pwede ba kitang kausapin?"(Can I talk to you?)
"Oh sige. Bakit?"(Okay. Why?)
"May gusto lang ako ihingi sayo,"(I just want to ask you something)
"Ah, okay, I'll see you outside the cinema then?"Daniel suggested.
"Sure. Sasabihin ko lang kay Julia at Liza,"(I'll just tell Julia and Liza)
Daniel nodded his head in response.
"Ate Juls at bunso, may sasabihin lang ako kay Daniel. Magkita na lang tayo sa Jollibee,"(Julia and Liza, I'm just going to tell something to Daniel. I'll just see you guys at Jollibee)
"Oh sige Ate Kat. Anong i-order namin para sa'yo?"Liza asked. (Ok Kat. What will we order for you?)
"Uhmm, Sopas at Chicken joy please,"I said, handing them some money which was hopefully enough to pay for my food bill. (Soup-Sopas)
We had a group hug before they walked out of the cinema. Daniel was walking down and I decided to quickly follow him. I took some popcorn and popped some into my mouth as I followed him.
We walked to the secluded part of the cinema, where the movie advertisements were. He stopped walking and sat down on the sofa provided.
He gestured with his hand for me to sit next to him. I awkwardly and uncomfortably sat next to him. A while back we were just being silly and stuff, but now it seemed all serious and, well, non-humorous. If that is even a word.
"So, what do you want to tell me?"Daniel asked once I was settled.
"Uhm, you see, I just wanted to ask you if,"I paused, and he arched his eyebrows, a gesture for me to continue,"if you wanted to act as my fake boyfriend so Enrique will stay away from me,"
I held in my breath as he stared at the floor, deciding what he wanted to answer.
"Sure. I'll do it,"he said, and I let out a deep sigh of relief. I thought he would decline.
"Thanks. We start tomorrow at school,"I said, and quickly ran away, once again, leaving him behind. Again.
Daniel POV
Wow, she ran away from me straight after she asked me to be her fake boyfriend. To be honest I was thrilled that she asked me out, even if it was just all an act. It's still an opportunity for me to get to know her, and hopefully to make her develop real feelings for me.
Yes, you heard me right.
I had feelings for Kathryn.
Hi guys! I'm so sorry for this short azz chapter and for the slow updates. I'm really busy with my education and stuff, but I do promise that I'll update at least ONCE a week.
