GLOW

The Beginning.

"AMIRAH. WAKE UP!" mom says in a loud voice. 

"I'M UP" I say while rolling my eyes. 

"OKAY" mom sighed. 

I heard her footsteps walking away from the bedroom and that was a sign for me to get up and get dressed. 

As soon as I got up, there was scratching at my door. 

I walked to the door and opened it. 

It was my dog. 

"Hey boy," I say bending down and petting him. 

"AMIRAH TAKE THE DOG OUT REAL QUICK PLEASE" my brother says from downstairs. 

"OKAY" I yell back at him. 

Today was my first day at a new school. I used to Shroder High but my mom didn't like the school so she transferred me. 

I throw on my rope and put on my crocs. 

"come on boy" I say. 

Walking downstairs is a pain in the morning. Especially when you're TIRED. 

This is my first day and it's going off great so far. (NOT).
