"I can too," I yelled dow the stairs, "I have some of the best works that any other woman has ever written"
"That's the problem, Ms. Sparks. No one wants a woman author. Women want to read things written by women, but unfortunately for you no women read. With the War raging, women have to work to keep their families alive," Mr. Truman sarcastically remarked.
"Some women don't have families to look after! That's me, Sir! However, no one seems to care! So I will bid you good day, Mr. Truman! Don't ever consider asking me to write for you when the War ends, because I will not write for an imbecile!"
