One Night Changed Everything (A One Direction FanFiction)

Me(sydney),Zoey,madi, and emily were all at my house getting ready for Prom. We were all just going to go to prom with Zayn,Niall,liam, louis, and harry, but us girls wish it was more than friends but most wishing was Zoey... She had a crush on Liam for the longest time but they were best friends so she thought it would ruin their friendship if she even mentioned it..

Anyways Im going to prom with zayn(hopfully something will spark) madi is going with harry, emily is going with niall, and zoey is going with liam, louis is just going to "prowl" for lonely girls. Well after 3 hours of getting ready we were finally almost done but then the boys rolled up in the lemo.

They wanted tgis to be special since its going to be our last prom ever... I went to go talk to them since i was finished and i thought the girls needed more time. well when i got down to them the first one i saw was zayn looking amazing as ever but when he saw me something sparked in his eyes i cant quite put my finger on it but i know he had a spark of what i lhope its what i thought i ment... He came up to me and said

"Sydney you look absolutly stunning"

i smiled filling the heat rise in my cheeks.

"Thanks" i said.

He put the corsage on my wrist then we locked gazes for what seemed like an eternity then it was interrupted by Harry saying

"Where are the other girls?"

Me: "still getting ready let me go-"

i stopped right then cuz i saw Liam's eyes dart to the stair case starstruck by something i turned around and saw Zoey coming down the stairs. Zoey saw the way Liam was looking at her then blushed so much it came through her makeup when she reached the bottom of the staircase Liam went up to her and gave her a short awkward hug then put Zoeys corsage on her wrist. One after the other Madi and Emily came down and the same spark i saw in Zayns eyes when we locked gazes was in Niall's and Harrys eyes when they saw them to come down the stairs. They put on their corsages and the guys said that we looked beautiful but we need to get the show on the rode. I said

"let me just grab my jacket from upstairs."

Zayn said "ill come with you you might fall with those Nine Inch Fergie looking hills on!!"

I laughed and said " better safe than sorry:)"

when we got up to my room

zayn said "this place is a mess!"

I chuckled and said "Thats what you get when you put 4 girls in a room to look good for a night!"

He smiled and said "you always look good"

i felt the heat swell in my cheeks. Avoiding that topic i said

"Haha Well I cant find my jacket, all the other girls have theirs and its frezzing out there......Oh! I left it in my dads car when i bought it!....crap! He's gone to work already! And i am talking to myself *face-palm*"

Zayn and i look at each other and started laughing then he said

" well your cute when you talk to your self"

just getting over the blush before it happened again.

I said "Your always a charmer"

*winks* then he said

"Here use my jacket"

he put it on me and our lips were centimeters apart, it seemed like we were fixing to kiss, we were so close but then harry yelled up at us

"YALL!!! HURRY UP WERE GOING TO BE LATE!!"

Zayn looked disapointed then yelled "WERE COMING!!"

The. I said

"Thanks for the coat by the way."

He smiled and said

"No problem"

when we got down the stairs Niall had a mini samwich in his hand ,that i made the night before, he was also jokeing around with emily saying he needs some hells to be taller than her. Then harry was joking around with louis saying stuff that i couldnt hear and Liam and Zoey were laughing wildly and madi was recording Louis and Harry doing the salt and ice challenge. Its crazy how your gone for 5 minuets and Hazza and BooBear go off and do something wild. Haha. Well i said

"guys come on. My jacket is with my dad so im using zayns. I cant believe this guys our last Prom ever together..."

I started to tear up when emily said "Dont cry! Youll ruin your makup we spent an hour and half on!"

I laughed and said

"ok ok ill drop the depressing topic." We all chuckled and louis and niall said at the same time

"well lets go!"

We all agreed and piled in the lemo. The school was 20 minuets away so we asked the driver to put the radio on, which he did, and the song Beauty and the Beat by Justin Beiber and Nicki Manaj. We sanng the next two songs then a Taylor swift song came on and we we told the driver the change the channel and he did. We just talked until we got to the school. When we got there the guys helped us out one by one. This might seem kinda kiddy me saying this but i kinda felt like a superstar coming out of that lemo and then everyone stareing at us. It felt nice i guess. We paid for our tickets and went to the dance for we danced and danced and danced then i had to go to the bathroom. Zoey went with me. We fixed our makup and i just had to ask her something

"Whats going on with you and Liam? Yall say yall are just friends but i saw somthing in his eye when he saw you coming down the stairs. The thing is i saw something in every guys eyes tonight niall with emily, and harry with madi."

She blushed and said

"The thing is you know how much i like him, we both know how much emily likes niall and how much madi likes harry and how much you like zayn but if something happens bad between me and him it could ruin our friendship..."

"Zoey, youve got to go for it!!!!!"

I yelled a little to loud i chuckled a little bit and she said

"I will if you will."

I hesitated but then agreed. We left the bathroom in a mode of confidence, and went to get some punch and sit down. A slow song came on and Zayn asked me to dance and I said yes. Shortly after Liam went to Zoey and asked I felt happy for her.

"You know he really likes Zoey right?"

Zayn asked me. I was surprised but happy for her again.

"Dont tell anyone ok?"

I agreed. He added

"And niall likes Emily a lot and harry likes madi a lot. They told me that they were going to take there chances today while slow dancing."

I looked over at were my friends were dancing and as it looked very romantic and it seemed like sparks were flying. If anything the boys were succeeding. I said something that suprised myself "what abput you? Are you going to take your chance?"

My cheeks burned red right when i said that. He laughed and said, "Sydney i hope you know I've liked you forever. Ever since we met..."

I took a quick glance at my friends and to my surprise they were kissing. All of them! Wow. M so happy for them! When i looked back at zayn i said

"it took you long enough."

Then out of no where i kissed him not the other way around i kissed him!!! And we kissed for what seemed like an eternity but then the song ended. When we broke he asked me

"Sydney leann Miles will you give me the pleasure of being your boyfriend?"

How could i say no to that? Well its not like i would say no anyway he said it i would obvisiouly say yes!

"Why yes yes i would."

I smiled and started danceing to Gangnam Style. Turns put Madi was with harry now. Same with Niall and Emily and Liam and Zoey. We danced all night long. After prom we decided not to go to a big party so we just went back to my house.
