"Rose?" Caspian whispers.
"Yeah?" I ask sleepily.
"I'm relieving you from duty miss," he jokes.
"Thanks Cas," I say, rolling my eyes. "The sun's almost up. Did you oversleep?" I question.
"Uh maybe," he admits.
"Caspian!" I scold.
"Sorry Little Rose," He apologizes.
"It's okay, I forgive you," I say, leaning my head on his arm.
"You really are tired," he comments, chuckling. I nod. "You can stay up here with me if you like," he offers.
"Well, I'm too tired to move so I'll just have to except your offer," I say. He chuckles, wrapping his arm around me.
"You're warm," I sigh.
"Why thank you miss," he jokes.
"You're also an idiot," I add.
"You never hesitate to insult me do you," he comments.
"Nope. And never will," I tell him.
"Rose?" He asks.
"Yes?" I question
"You know, I quite fancy you from time to time when you're not yelling at me," he admits.
"Really?" I ask. He nods.
"You know, I quite fancy you from time to time as well, when you're not being an idiot," I tell him.
"I knew it!" You hear a voice accuse from behind the both of you. Will. Oh shoot.
"Will! Great! You've come to relieve me?" Caspian questions.
"Don't try acting all innocent Hackerston. I heard the entire conversation." Will says, sounding angry.
"Will, why are you angry?" I ask.
"I think you know why," he sneers.
"Actually I don't. So if you'd please explain," I ask.
"Fine. I'll explain. Hackerston, please remove yourself." Will orders.
"Good luck Little Rose," he whispers in my ear before climbing down to the deck.
"Okay, so as you know, I love Elizabeth..."
"Yes, we know this," I comment.
"Let me finish speaking Rose! Anyways, as I was saying. My heart is torn between Elizabeth and you," he blurts. I begin to laugh.
"What's so funny?" he questions, looking a bit hurt.
"Caspian was right. You love both me and Elizabeth," I tell him. He quirks his eyebrow, confused. "I'll make this as easy as possible for you William. I see you as a friend. I release you to solely love the beautiful Governor's daughter," I say dramatically.
"Rose, this isn't a joking matter," he says.
"Will, you love Elizabeth. That's why you're here. Imagine Elizabeth's reaction when she finds out you love her, but me as well. She wouldn't be too happy about it mate," I say, tapping his shoulder, before climbing down to the deck.
"You did the right thing Rose. Letting him go like that," Caspian tells me.
"Were you eavesdropping?" I question.
"Maybe... I was just curious okay?" He says defensively. Jack walks out of his cabin.
"Morning Captain!" I greet.
