Jennys Pov
The rest of the week went by pretty fast. Now it's Friday game day. So I head to school like always and get through all of my classes. I head to the locker room to get ready for the game. It's a home game by the way. Once I get ready I stand on the locker room bench and say, "Ok girls we have been practicing all week. So expect nothing but greatness out there! Emily you are benched for 2 quarters of the game. Next time do not disrespect your cheer or co-captain. Kate will lead for the first two quarters and I will lead the last two quarters. Ok now let's get out their and show them what we are made of!" We all go out to the football field and we do our stunt so we can hold up the banners for the football players to come through. Our banner is made by our local printing shop. That prints banners, t-shirts, logos on cups, and etc. We are lucky that one of the girls on the team's dad is the owner and they are willing to print us one every home game! Our school mascot for Lakeworth Academy by the way is the Raiders. I do not know why we are called that.
They called out our football players and they tore through the banner. Of course Tyler had the nerve to look at me and blow me a kiss. I wish he could see I do not want him anymore. I will not go back to him plus he is making it hard because I know Emily is going to get some absurd idea that I am working it out with him when in reality it's not gonna happen ever. I shrugged it off and rolled my eyes and put up my middle finger. I fell back from the stunt and it hurt when I landed because Emily decided not to catch me the right way. Everyone ran to me and asked me if I was okay. Emily had the nerve to say, "Why are you all asking if this bitch is okay? She is a class A liar she says she isnt getting back with her Ex but yet he's blowing kisses at him. She's a two faced bitch. She's lucky I didn't do worse damage to her!" Lets just say everyone was shocked that Emily said that because when she said it she sounded deranged that she needs serious help. I looked at everyone, "I am fine I can continue but imma need Kate to lead the whole game instead of the first two quarters and you're going to have 2 cheerleaders down. Because I can't tumble or stunt in this condition. But I can still cheer. I may decide to leave halfway through the game Kate so I'm trusting you to get next week's schedule out and to make sure everything is in order in the locker rooms. Do you think you can handle that?" Kate nodded and said, "Yes of course but you said we going to be 2 cheerleaders down isn't Emily coming back after 2 quarters?" I looked at her and smirked and said, "Not after what she did and said." I looked at Emily and said, "You are kicked off the cheer team you may try out next year but I can not promise you will get on. I will let Coach Stacy know what you have done and I am sure she won't have any objections. You may try to appeal but good luck with that. I tried and tried with you. Just to let you know I haven't talked to Tyler except for small talk in class. I have let him know multiple times that I am not getting back with him or that I do not like how he is treating you. But I can not control what he does. Believe what you want I do not care anymore. Return your gear first thing Monday morning to coach Jamie. You may leave!" Emily huffed and stomped away. I looked at the girls and said let's get this game over with.
I ended up leaving after 2 quarters of the game. I stopped by Coach Jamies office and explained to her what happened and she understood and thought I made the right decision. I went into my car and my phone had a text notification. It was a text from Jax asking if I wanted to go on a weekend trip with him.
THE TEXT BETWEEN JAX AND JENNY
Jax: Hey hope everything is ok i wanted to ask if you wanted to go on a weekend trip with me
Jenny: Yeah sure where are we going?
Jax: we are going to a business conference I have to attend and kates dad is going there he still isnt convinced
Jenny: Oh ok yea I guess Ill go home and back and you can meet me at my house?
Jax: Yea sounds great see you when you get home jen
Jenny: Ok
BACK TO JENNYS POV
Jennys POV
I started up my car and headed home. I got into my house and my parents and my grandma Betty are in the living room watching some tv show. I told them that I'm going on a weekend trip with Jax. He wants me to attend a business conference. They nodded and told me to be careful. Now you are probably wondering why they trust me so much. Well why grandma betty does because i am a teenager and we do stupid things sometimes. Well she knows my grades and cheer are important and I really want to get into a good college. So that's why she trusts me so much. I go up the stairs and pack my makeup, hygiene, curling iron, blow dryer, hair products, pajamas, a cocktail dress, two cute outfits, and shoes to go with it. I also packed my laptop and my chargers. I grab everything and I head out the door and pack my stuff in the trunk of my car. I went back in the house to tell everyone I was leaving and they hugged me and told me to call them when I got there. I said I will.
I went back out and Jax was waiting with his suitcase of things. I told him to put them in the trunk and I gave him my keys and said he's driving since I don't know where I am going. We got in the car and drove to the gas station to grab road trip snacks and get gas of course. Before I could get out of the car Jax said he needed to tell me something. I looked at him and he said, "Helping Kate isn't the only reason I wanted to go on this business trip with you. It's because I like you and I know that you just got out of a relationship not too long ago and if you need some time then I will wait." And he leaned over and kissed me!
