Battle scenes should talk about multiple characters, with the general point of view being in the protagonist's Clan. Vary your descriptions of battle moves, and add in dialogue as a final touch. Always remember the Show, Don't Tell rule in these cases.
The biggest part of a battle is how it ends. Maybe too many warriors are down and one of the Clans has to retreat? Perhaps everyone calls it quits once one of the leaders/major warriors are killed?
What does each Clan use to push the odds in its favor? The most common tactic is slowly pulling the battle into its own territory. Other times, it's by tricking the enemy and surprise attacking them. Whatever strategy is used will depend on what the Clan specializes in.
