"Mommy! Mommy!" cried Annabelle. "Yes darling? Is everything fine?" Said her mother. "It's almost my birthday! I'm really excited!" Exclaimed the little girl.
"Oh really? I haven't noticed. You are growing up so fast! I can't believe it's your birthday is coming up already!" The mother said. Suddenly, there was a voice coming from upstairs. It seemed as if it was trying to warn them.
"Are you okay mommy? You look-" her voice was cut off by her mother.
"Keep quiet darling... We have to leave. Now." Her voice was harsh, and showed a little worryness. "Why? Did you hear something? It could be daddy!" Annabelle said. They hear the voice again. It seemed hushed.
"Hello little girl." Said the voice.
"Mommy? Did you hear that?" Annabelle seemed a little frightened.
"No. You must be hearing things now that I said something." The mother said eagerly.
"But I heard something! I know I did! It said 'Hello little girl.' I'm this time, I'm NOT trying to seem funny!" Now Annabelle's voice became more harsh.
"Watch that tone in your voice missy! Now, let's go to your friends house. You and Crystal will have lots of fun together!" "Ok! That seems fun!"
"Little girl! Wouldn't you want to have fun with me?" The voice came back.
"MOMMY! I HEAR THE VOICE AGAIN!" Cried Annabelle. "Shhhh! Now Annabelle, lets go to your friends house."
