"Yay today is the first day of eighth grade!!!!" I screamed at my friend Maya over the phone. "I don't understand why your so excited Riles it's just school." Maya replied "Because where school is Lucas is..." I said "Riley your just saw him yesterday" "I know it's been so long" Maya just laughed at that last comment. "Ok whatever Riles see you in 10 minutes" "Ok bye, Maya" "Bye" After me and Maya's talk I went downstairs to have breakfast. My mom made oatmeal with strawberries. It was pretty good except just don't compare to Farkle's breakfast. Did I forget to mention my dad is the new principal at school. Most people think it would suck to have your parent work at your school. I think it's kinda cool.
