Shays POV:
I left the girls to look after Amber. She's in such a state. But Dan is as well. I got into my car and drove after Dan. It's lucky that I pasted my driving test a few weeks ago. I wasn't quite sure where Dan was heading at first but then I realised. He was heading for a club. Bad news. Whenever Dan's in a state like this he always goes to a club which ends up with him getting in a fight and getting in trouble with the police.
He got out his car and headed for the club entrance, I quickly got out my car and ran after him.
"DAN DAN STOP!" I shouted after him. He turned around and stopped to talk to me.
"What do you want Shay?"
"I want to talk to my best friend, is that a problem?" I said playfully punching him.
"Look I'm not in the mood, sorry." Dan replied turning his back to me and walked closer to the entrance of the club.
I pulled his arm to stop him from going in the club when suddenly he turned around and hit me. I fell to the floor with a bang, I could tell my nose was bleeding. I was so shocked at what just happened and I think Dan was too. He looked horrified like he didn't believe what he just done.
"Shay I am so so sorry I really didn't mean to I would honestly never do that to you on purpose I am so sorry" Dan said really fast to me like he was going to burst into tears. Dan helped me up and took me back to his car completely forgetting about going to the club. This wasn't really the way I wanted to get through to him about not going to the club but it works. I know he didn't do it on purpose Dan's not like that. He kept apologizing over and over again.
"Dan don't worry about it I know it was an accident." I said to him trying to reassure him.
Dan passed me some tissues for my nose which was still bleeding a lot. Dan still looked really apologetic, bless him. We sat in silence for a few minutes and it was really awkward. Dan knows why I came after him and what I wanted to talk about.
"Dan we need to talk about Amber." I whispered.
"I know, I know." He replied sighing.
"What are you gonna do about it? You can't just run away Dan, it's not gonna help. She's pregnant with your baby."
"That's the thing Shay I don't know what to do. I'm scared, okay. Don't make fun of me but I'm really scared. I'm not ready to be a dad." Dan said almost in tears.
"Look Dan I don't blame you for being scared I really don't but what about Amber you don't think she's scared? She's the one carrying the baby she was scared about telling you because she didn't want you to leave her. You need to talk to her, properly about what to do. Remember there's a baby involved in all this too."
Dan looked at me for a few minutes and then gave me a massive hug and said "Shay thank you so much you're right I need to talk to Amber we need to sort this out"
To be honest I felt quite proud of myself making Dan realise what he needed to do.
"Its okay Dan " I said still hugging him and smiling like a lunatic.
Let's just hope it's not too late. I know Amber was thinking about having an abortion but I decided to not tell Dan since he's going to speak to her. I hope they sort it out. I really do.
