Back to School

I woke up in Nathan's room. I was very confused as to where he was. So I got out of bed, realizing I only had underwear on so I just put on one of his Captain America shirts. I walk out of his room to hear music playing, coming from the kitchen. What the... "I came in like a wreaking ball!" I heard Nathan singing... Miley Cyrus? I turn the corner to see a shirtless Nathan in nothing but his boxers and socks dancing to Miley Cyrus, while flipping pancakes. I decided to scare him so, before he could see me, I went back behind the wall and I slid out from the hallway, singing it just as loud as he was. I guess it worked because he jumped so high, I'm supprised he's not a cat.

I laughed so hard I fell to the ground, landing in fetus postion. "Not fair!" He says laughing along with me. "Oh... totally, fair." I manage to get out of my mouth. "Can I just say, that looked sexy as hell." I tell him before getting up off the hardwood floor, and wiping away my tears of joy that were streaming down my face. "Haha." he says walking over to me and grabbing me by the waist then asked me. "Is that my shirt?" I kiss him. "Maybe." I say pulling away. "Well, if your going to school, then I guess you can wear it." He tells me while I face palm myself. "Shit. I completely forgot about school." I say groaning. "Well, you could always go later." Nathan says, picking me up by my thighs, setting me on the counter, and kissing my neck. I giggle, then moan as he gets my sweet spot. "How do you know about my sweet spot?" I ask him. "I found it last night, remember?" He says making me pull him up to my face as I kiss him, a little more rough than intended. "Now let's see if I remember where yours is." I say running back to the room, Nathan following close behind.

When it got to be noon, I told Nathan I had to get to school before the day was over. "I'll be there to pick you up, bye." He says kissing my cheek, while I walk out of the front door unfurling my wings.

I arrived behind the school where no one would see me, so I could put away my wings. When I walked into the door, I was tackled by Alexys. "Oh my God, Katie, I'm so glad you came back! I have amazing freaking news!" She squeals as we start walking down the hallway. "Alright, alright, calm down, dang." I say trying to get her to calm down as the teachers that were out in the hallway were staring at me. "It's about Jason." She says. "And?" I ask her, daydreaming about Nathan. "He asked me out... and I said yes." She finally squeaks out. I show no emotion for her as I keep on daydreaming about Nathan.

She finally realizes I am not listening, and snaps me out of it. "Katie... what happened between you and Nathan when you guys dropped me off at my place last night?" She asked with a smile forming on her face. "Stuff." I say staring off into space. "Exactly, what kind of stuff?" She asks, her smile growing bigger. "Please don't hate me..." I say trailing off. "You had sex?!" She says, I then quickly held her still. "No! God, no! But we sure did come close. It just got really heated. And ended up with us both in our underwear." I say looking down smiling.

"Holy cow, Katie!" She says still not calmed down from either Jason asking her out or the fact that me and Nathan came really close last night. "Hey, sorry to have to do this but I need to go talk to my teachers." I say hoping she would catch on. "Right, the whole 'Sorry I missed school cause I had these wings everyone would judge me for' type of thing. Got it." She says and I walk off.

I walk into my math class and walk up to my teacher. I then compel him to never count me absent and to give me a+'s for the rest of the semester. And I do this with all of my teachers, until I turn around to see Jason. Oh god. Please, kill me now. "Jason." I say walking past him. "Katie," he says making me stop. "What?" I say turning around. "I know you must hate me for saying those things," he try's to continue, but I cut him off. "Oh don't be, because me and Nathan? Ya, um we're together now. I actually stayed at his place last night instead of the cliffs. Oh, and get this," I take off my jacket and continually furl and unfurl my wings, making him go wide eyed. "What about the spell? I thought you had to have a spell to do that." I furl my wings once more, putting my jacket back on to cover them up. "Well, Nathan knows a few tricks." I say. When Jason gets the hint, he gags, making me laugh. I then heard a bell ring. "Must be 3:30 already. Oh well, bye!" I say running out of school and quickly running behind the school to take off back to Nathan's.

I walk in, putting my stuff down then going to Nathan's room. I walk in to see Nathan looking like he didn't do anything all day, and writing on his computer. He looks up, closes his computer, and sits on the edge of the bed looking at me. "I thought I was picking you up?" I shrug, then so does he. "Anyways...How was school?" He asked me as I got undressed into just underwear. "Hm, well let's see, I saw my best friend, compelled my teachers to make me look like the golden student, and came home just to see you. So I guess it was pretty ok." I say while he nods in approval. "Hey, um, you left your phone here, you know that right?" He asked me. I nodded. "Yea, why?" I asked confused. "Cause your mom texted you asking where you were." He said pointing to my phone. "Well. Here hand it to me." I say holding my hand out for him to put my phone in. "Oh, no. You have to come here to get it." He taunts me. I laugh while I jump onto the bed and roll on top of him. I kissed him and reached for my phone. "I need to call her, so don't make a peep." I say speed dialing my mom.

"Hey, mom, I just wanted to call and let you know I'm at a friends house and I should be home in a couple days, if your wondering why, it's for a school project. And you probably won't be able to reach me for a couple days, to keep distractions out of my way. Love you, bye."

I hang up the phone and turn it off, and throw it on the bedside table. "Now, where were we, you know, before school." He says flipping us over to where he's on top. "Ah, I think it was here." I say pulling him down to my lips.

When Nathan and I were running low on energy, we just slept. Until I heard a phone ring. "I thought I turned my phone off?" I say confused. "You did, that ones mine." He groans, getting up and picking up the phone. I sit up alarmed as I hear my name. "Ya, shes with me, why?" Nathan says to the person on the other end. "Ok I'll tell her, thanks, bye." He hangs up the phone, and then puts it next to mine. "Who was that?" I ask. "Alexys." He said laying back down. I lie down next to him as he wrapped an arm around me. "Ya? What'd she need? And how did she get your number?" I ask all at once. "She wanted to tell you that she needs to talk to you...in person." He said, making me groan at having to get up in the morning. I lay my arm on his chest, snuggling into him. "Let's just enjoy right now." I say letting sleep overtake me.
