The exhaustion was obvious.
The excitement was too.
The chaos was predictable... weirdly.
"Hey, guys, it's time to go home! The caravan is waiting for us!" The leader calls out over the noise.
"Hyung, give that back!" Hobi yells at Jin, who grins and lobs the item to JK.
"Dude, seriously? She's the one you liked tonight?" JK mocks as he looks at the photo on the screen.
"Give that back immediately!" Hobi glares at the maknae who is smirking at his phone.
"GUYS!! We need to be on the caravan Right Now!" Joon tries for a second time.
As Hobi stalks towards the youngest JK tries to bolt away, only to be tripped by the apparently snoozing Suga.
With a wounded look on his face, Jungkook looks to Suga, a whine in his voice. "Hyung, if you wanted to see it too you just had to ask!"
Eyes still closed, Yoongi smirks. "Why would I want to look at that? I got to see him trying to mack on her... and fail miserably." His gravelly voice makes everyone quiet to hear what he's saying... making Hobi crumble to the floor in defeat.
"Come on, Hobi-ah. Time to head home and forget this ever happened, eh?" Namjoon puts a hand under his arm to help him get up from the floor. Hobi just nods pitifully and accepts the help.

With Hobi and Yoongi's help Namjoon finally corrals the group known as BTS and heads them towards the waiting vehicles.
Well, vehicle, at least. It's been 20 minutes since they were told everyone else was ready and in their vehicles. Fifteen minutes after that Sejin tossed Yoongi the keys to the vehicle, telling him he was getting a ride back to HQ for a post concert meeting with the corporate managers. Yoongi nodded absently at his statement, pocketing the keys as he relaxed while Joon wrangled the noisy brats into not hanging off of things, running around playing chase, or trying to eat all the leftovers quickly cooling down on the buffet tables... yeah, his hyung too. The catering crew were waiting for them to leave so that they could clean up after all.
"Yah! They left us?! The talent? This handsome face?! How could they?" Jin mock-sobbed as the approached the lonely vehicle.
"Who has the keys?" Joon asked, looking at the members. The maknae line shrugged, Hobi shook his head, glaring at the youngest who had finally given him back his phone. Yoongi reached in his pocket, remembering something was given to him.
"Oh, yeah. I have it. I'll drive." Suga rumbles quietly.
"Shotgun!"

The battle for shotgun was won by Namjoon himself, finally glaring at the rest, his temper showing with the tensed jaw and tongue poking his inner cheek.
The rest flopped into their seats, buckled up, and almost immediately passed out.
"I know it's hard wrangling all of us, but I appreciate your work." Yoongi says quietly as they drive home.
"Thanks, Hyung. Sometimes I wonder if they'll ever grow up." Namjoon groans in response.

"Where'd this downpour come from?!" Shouts Yoongi, glaring into the limited visual range beyond the front of the car.
"Doesn't matter! Just pull over until it's done, it'll be safer to wait this out." Namjoon roars over the pounding water on the roof of the vehicle.
Everyone is awake at this point, Hobi clinging to the nearest member... which happens to be Jin, who's clinging back just as hard.
The maknae line in the back are peering out the back window trying to see if there's anyone heading towards them. Thankfully it's as dark out their window as it is the all the others.
Actually... Taehyung cocks his head to the side, considering as he looks around.
"Is it just me or are the street lights out?" He asks at a not-quite shout.
A few 'huhs?' and 'whats?' From the front two and the question gets relayed to them, leaving everyone in the vehicle peering outside to get a glimpse of a highway lamplight... to no success.
"I hope the storm didn't knock out the power grid as well!" Shouts Jungkook over the tinny beat of the water on the roof.
"Did you leave a game on pause?" asks Jimin. With Jungkook's nod and hung head Jimin just gives him a conciliatory pat on the shoulder before going back to looking outside, hoping to see a glimpse of electrical light, be it from a building or a lamp post.

It's not until light seems to be taking over the horizon that the deluge outside peters off. With everyone sleeping in shifts as they wait out the storm the windows are fogged over from the snoring and heated bodies.
It's Hobi's turn to stay awake as he realizes the rain is clearing out, but he's in an awkward seat to reach a window. Reaching across Jin to try to wipe off the moisture from the glass behind him wakes up the eldest.
"Is the storm finally over?" He mumbles, hugging his travel RJ. Hobi nods, using the sleeve of his sweatshirt to try to get a clear view of the outside.
Jin sits up from his slumped position, wincing from the shoulder and neck muscles protesting as he rights himself in the seat, leaning back to let Hobi reach beyond him. This unfortunately means he kicks his legs out to get leverage to move himself... meaning he kicks the driver's seat, waking Suga.
"Is the storm finally fucking over..." grumbles the grumpy man behind the driver's wheel. Namjoon's snore in reply makes Hobi giggle, a little too loudly for the enclosed space.
"Five more minutes ma..." Taehyung groans as he snuggles further into his soulmate. Jimin just pulls him closer, tightening his grip on him. JK leans further against Taehyung's back, trying to escape the sunrise's light filtering through the drops of moisture on the glass surrounding them.
Suga looks back at the rest through the rearview mirror, leans over to nudge Namjoon awake, and enlists his help in scavenging napkins to help clear off the windshield.

"This is illogical." Namjoon states firmly.
"Look, I agree, but how do you deny what's right in front of you?" Suga asks, scowling.
The seven piled out of the vehicle when they finally get a window cleared. The view in front of them was beautiful, no doubts about that, but not what they expected.
The Han River slowly snakes in front of them, lazily glowing as the sun rises over the horizon. The plant life surrounding it makes the landscape lush, trees and grasses, shrubbery fighting stem and thorn for space to reach the sunlight all around them.
...and not one bit of concrete. There is no road in front of them, behind them, and no structures anywhere from where they stand to the horizon.
