Katniss and Gale led me to the train, but not without some recognition. Actually only one.

"Aven!"

I saw my ex, who I was on pretty good terms on, his name was Mason. He waved me over.

Katniss, and I walked over. Gale went with his game to his family.

Mason hugged me.

"I thought you were dead. I thought the last thing I said to you was horrible. I felt like shit." I hugged him awkwardly, grimacing at Katniss. She helped me out.

"Hey, we have to go, we have an appointment, which is why she is back, could we go?"

"Oh yeah," he pulled away," I'll see you later, Aven."

We walked off.

"What was that?"

"Ex." Was all that I offered as explanation.

We walked to the train station.

There was a train, filled with coal, smelling that familiar smell.

"Wait! Aven!" It was Mason. "Where are you going? Are you sneaking on a train!?" He was too loud. Katniss noticed, too. She pulled him away, while I checked, then opened the door and got to the back, where there was lots of coal to hide with.

I sat, silently thanking Katniss. I would see her unfortunately again in the Capitol. Same with Han, unfortunately. She was once featured on catching up with the stars, and I found out. Her family was killed. She didn't want to be some kind of prostitute, so Snow killed her family. She was never showed again, except for training the next District 7 tributes. Every year, looking worse than before.

I was really close to coughing, it was dusty, to say the least.

I could barely breathe, but I kept my thoughts on Han. I missed her more than imaginable.

Her short black hair and amazing smile...

I smiled at the thought of her.

An hour in, they stopped, and I thought we were there. I stuck my head out, ready to book it, but we were in the middle of a wheat field, close to District 9 apparently. I immediately stuck my head back in and hid, making sure I was hidden in case someone saw my head and was coming to check in. I couldn't leave now. Thankfully, we started to move again after 2 stressful minutes.

I waited in the silence and we ended up at the Capitol in another hour, maybe two. I jumped out before they noticed me. I went to the library and went directly to the bathroom and rinsed myself in sink water, to get the coal dust off, even though it could easily be Capitol fashion. When, I looked slightly presentable, but for a District 13, not a Capitol citizen.

I didn't care. I walked into the Tributes center, they didn't even look up, as long as you were in the city, you were good apparently. There she was. She was sitting defiant at the couches. I walked up to her and she didn't look up.

"Who the hell are you."

I kissed her forehead.

I had wanted to for 4 years.

"I think you want to see me."

She whipped her head up.

"VEN!" She kissed me and picked me up, as I held onto her, my lips on her lips.

"I thought you were dead!" she sobbed, being the person I missed for years. She kissed me again and again.

She brought me to the elevator.
