Moon Gyeo-wool is a girl who is a 17-year-old (14 = International age) 10th-grade high school kid. She is new to the school 하늘 높이. She lives with her family which consists of her father, Moon Ji-wang, her mother Park Moon-young, older sisters Moon Ju-ri, Moon Jin-joo, Moon Ji-eun, Moon Ji-hye, Moon Ji-young, and Moon Ji-na, and older brothers Moon Chan-young, Moon Chang-min, Moon Seungjae, and Moon Jae-hwan. She used to get bullied in her old school, so they had to move to Jeju from Daegu. While starting her first day at her new school, she gets bullied by some of the popular kids at the school and also meets Kim Chang-wan, one of the popular kids who isn't in the group of popular kids who bully her.
Kim Chang-wan is an 18-year-old (15 = International age) boy in 11th grade at 하늘 높이. He lives with his family which consists of his father, Kim Dae-hwan, his mother Jang Ha-young, older sisters Kim Gyu-ri, Kim Hae-sun, and Kim Young-nam, and younger brothers, Kim Tae-kwang, Kim Joo-hyuk, and Kim Min-joon. He hangs out with the popular kids but doesn't participate in the bullying that, his friends do.
