A Half Complete Journey

Hi, My name is Madison. I'm writing a story about my best friend, Mason Halloway. He was bullied, until he couldn't take it any longer. This is his story, in my perspective.

     On 10/13/1996 Mason Walker Halloway was born, with dirty blond hair and electric blue eyes, to the parents of Emma Alyssa Halloway, and James Robert Halloway. Mason didn't have the best family he could've. His father was abusive and his mother had raped him. His best friend since birth was Christina Darian. He told her everything, they had grown up in the same environment. When he was in 4th grade he started to get bullied, by everyone. In 6th grade he tried to run away with Christina. The police found them and took them back home, Christina was put in a foster home, Mason was still stuck with his family, he would still see Christina though. In 7th grade he began to cut. He was anti-social and wouldn't talk to anybody, except for Christina and me. He tried to run away again in 9th grade, continuing to get bullied. Once again the police found him. He decided he would start to be more social, so he made a twitter. It was meant to be personal, but ended being a Role play account as the character 'Cato' from The Hunger Games, that being his favorite movie. He met new people and ended up in a long distance relationship with somebody who's name i can not reveal. they were together for a weeks on and off. Eventually they became just friends. In those weeks he had been moved to a suicidal rehab center to stay at, where as he had tried to commit suicide many times. He still continued to get bullied at school. He met another girl off of the social networking site named Jade, who he fell for. He would repeatedly say he was gonna kill himself and Jade didn't want it to be her fault so she left him alone. He eventually moved on after he had been hurt many times by one of Jade's friends Mark.  He then found another girl after a month or two later. Her name was Lorna, he was head over heels in love with her. Everything in his life was going great. That was only for the week he was on Winter Vacation. When he had went back to school, things had started to get bad again. His friends were teasing him because he couldn't have sex with someone one thousand miles away. Mason didn't care, he was tempted to meet Lorna one day, she lived in England, very far from his destination which was North Carolina. Nobody was really sure as to when he killed himself, it was within the second week of January. Christina ended up killing herself as well. I had came over to his house a week later and looked at all his stuff, i looked under his mattress and found a journal, it had everything in it that i had just told you. Also in a pocket on the side of the journal paper-clipped to a piece of paper was $200 on the paper it had said "Flight to England". The moral of this story was, that words, really do hurt.
