Chapter 2: 'two sided asshole'

I got to my first block and I was slightly sad that I didn't get to talk to Brite a bit more longer. I felt someone sit next to me and give a slight small sigh.

"Well.. hello there Drift." The male spoke in a bored but small happish tone.

"Oh Sanctum- hey I didn't know you were in this class." I quietly mumbled. It caught me by surprise that he was in this class. I forgot about the rest of the group for a moment just because I was thinking about Brite.

"You didn't come back why is that? Did you and Brite get along or did she ditch you." He slightly chuckled as he curiously asked.

"Oh no.. she didn't ditch me. We just had a good conversation and stuff while getting my schedule." I explained.

"Oh alright cool anyways are you going to get into football or nah? Trouble told me to ask you that's since he thinks you look pretty good for football." He happily asked as his bored look slowly faded away.

"Yeah I will when are tryouts do you know?" I questioned.

"Eh somewhere around September or October not too sure.. Trouble knows more than I do. Anyways new kid what dragged you to this school?" He curiously asked. It seemed like he wanted to know more about me than what meets the eye.

"Er.. I had to move back with my uncle and stuff just random stuff. Nothing big I'm just happy I moved out of that shit hole." I slightly talked in a bored way. Honestly explaining my life story over and over again is pretty boring and pathetic.

We had a full on conversation about our families. It was pretty funny how he had a tough childhood like me. I know that feeling of being raised alone with a single parent. He was raised by his dad and his mom left him after leaving the hospital. Yet in his case he was lucky of being born into a wealthy family well his dad. His dad started up his company when he was a kid and it slowly sky rocketed. We learned a bit about each other's lives and we have stuff in common. The teacher partnered us up for a assignment which I was fine with.

"Drift, by the way before settling in this school you have watch your back with some certain type of people here." He quietly mumbled.

"What do you mean? Why do you say certain people?" I mindlessly opened my mouth.

"Well since you are new I'll warn you about some people that you shouldn't hang out with. I've been here ever since my freshmen year and I know some people that are two sided assholes."

I mindlessly listen to what he was going to say about these people and who they are. We pretended to work on our work for we won't get in trouble with the teacher. I hope she didn't catch us not doing any work because she was pretty scary.

"First person I warn you of is Ruby. Ruby is a girl that wears red and she is Ikonik's ex girlfriend. Besides all that she is a awful person.. she is a gold digger, player, and a pretty toxic person. She literally has a two sided toxic personality. She is a two sided asshole. In my sophomore year, she actually tried picking a fight with Brite literately in the end of the last day of school but Brite isn't stupid and walked the other way."

"Wait? She actually did that? Ikonik hasn't told me about her yet. How did Ikonik break up with her or did she break up with him? Also why did she pick a fight with Brite? I questioned. I had many questions to ask on how this happened.

"Well- let me try and explain the story short and easy."

I walked with Ikonik with his petty girlfriend outside the steaming heat. The heat hit my face and it was hella hot that day. It was finally summer but when it is summer I'll tell you this it gets hella hot here. It feels like your skin is boiling with your own sweat.
