" Happy New Year!!!" They all cheered as the music bursted loudly from the speakers. Seulgi looked up at the sky, mesmerised by the stars above her. I wish I had someone to watch these stars with. She thought.

" Seul! Come join us! Let's record a new year video for our families!" Seulgi's college friend, Wendy, called. Seulgi ran to her friends and positioned themselves. Before Joy could start recording, Seulgi's phone rang. Seulgi looked at her phone and was stunned by the notification.

" Who's that?" Joy and Wendy smirked.

" I'll tell ya later, let's greet our families!"

After the 3 girls recorded, Seulgi checked the message.

Seulgi put her phone away, grinning.

" Hey what's gotten you so giddy and weird all of a sudden?" Joy teased.

" Ouuuuu it's her internet crush!" Wendy laughed.

" It is so not." Seulgi shrugged.

Wendy laughed, " IT IS SO IT!"

" Oh my, Seulgi unnie? IN LOVE?!" Joy exclaimed.

" Alright we won't tease, you deserve a break anyway Seul." Said Wendy.

Seulgi smiled, " Soooo, who is this mysterious lady? Hm?" Wendy and Joy asked.

Seulgi pulled out her phone and showed pictures of her-now-claiming-soon-to-be-girlfriend.

" WOAH- SHE'S HELLA FINE!" Seulgi gave Joy a death stare.

" Woah she's gorgeous Seul."

" I KNOW RIGHT! I'm telling y'all now that this girl is gonna be mine and I'll treat her like a princess."

" All right slow down you simp, how long have you known this girl?" Joy raised her eyebrow.

" Uh 2 months?"

" Mhm, and do you two actually talk?" Wendy questioned.

" Uhhh not really...? We comment on each other's posts here and there on SNS."

" I wanna judge but I've never seen you this happy since she-who-shall-not-be-named." Joy said.

" Yeah I agree, and that smile? Wow Seul, I missed seeing you smile like that. Ever since Garam oppa... All I'm saying is... I'm so happy to see you like this again."

Wendy and Seulgi sighed.

" Anyways, good night girls, Taeyeon unnie wants to meet with us at 6pm for dinner. She's gonna bring the whole gang." Joy said in bliss.

" Good night! Happy new year!" Seulgi and Wendy said.

8 hours later...

Seulgi heard the sound of her alarm go off loudly across her room.

" Fucking hell, shouldn't have set an obnoxious sound for my alarm." Seulgi got up on her bed crankily and did her morning routine. She got out of her room and saw her two roommates being all lovey dovey right in front of her.
