"Victoria hurry, if we don't we'll get caught and miss our flight" Victor, my older twin brother by a few minutes, hissed as we hurried to our gate and then to our seats.  We were both 13, but I looked like his daughter, not his twin, we lost our parents to an unknown disease that we had miraculously survived, we couldn't find any jobs that we could both take at the same time so we took to stealing and shoplifting, luckily, thanks to my small size, we were able to get money for help.
"You know, I'm glad that we survived, but I miss mom and dad," I say, and victor nods. "I know you do, but nothing can be done now and you know this," he says and I nod.
After a few hours that felt like minutes we land in America, and luckily Victor and I had a way to convince adults to help us.
Fast forward a few years and we have hopped from foster home to foster home and then we found jobs that would take the both of us at the same time.
Today I needed to stay home for medical reasons, and when Victor came home I was feeling so much and Victor could tell.
