Path of the Jedi

It was early in the morning, the light haven't shown to shine bright as a young man continues to sleep, having dreams about a weapon of pure energy like nothing that he has ever seen. It just floats around away from his grasp. He tries to reach it but when he does he starts to fall down faster and faster and faster as he falls he starts to scream.


Jack: "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

As he reaches closer to the ground he closes his eyes and tries to protect himself from the fall. As he reaches the ground he wakes up and bolts straight up from his bed in a cold sweat.

Jack looks around in a cold breath and starts to calm down


Jack: "What the hell is going on with me?"
(rubs his eyes and checks the time, 4:30)

Jack: "Ok time for me to get ready"

He gets up and does his normal routine, which is normally coffee and toast. When he finishes he takes a shower, While he takes a shower he keeps thinking of that dream it has been non stop and beginning to worry him. After the shower he puts his work clothes on and makes his lunch. When he does he checks the time, it was 5:10, and with everything packed up he starts off to walk to his workplace. As he walks,he sees the poor condition of Mantel and how the people are living. Most people are huddling around a fire bin and drinking to ease the pain of everything. He stops at a sign for the truck to pass and as it does, he sees humans and faunus exhausted, covered in dust and dirt. Jack feels sorry for them because he knows the horror of what is in those caves falling debris, explosions when too much dust is made or worse, Grimm. He gave a sigh and continued onwards to where he needed to meet up with his crew of the Schnee scrapers and wait for their pickup. He continues walking and finally he reaches the Scrappers hotspot he enters the bar and sees all of the Schnee scrapper workers talking, laughing and angry because they were tired and want to get to scrapping to make their money and go back home. He continues to walk through the bar until he hears a familiar voice calling out to him, it was Rex his bull faunus friend waving his hand for me to come over


Rex: "Hey buddy over here me and Sal saved you a spot."

Jack looked over and saw Sal raising his glass to him, smiled and gave him a Nod. Jack starts to walk over and takes a seat

Rex: "It's good to see you buddy. How are you?"

Jack in a tired voice "Dandy" as he rubs his eyes.

Sal: "Sounds like you need a stiff drink lad."

Jack: "Well we are underage but no one cares about that because we are scrappers."

Rex: "Hey that is not true I am older than you but people care about us. What do you think of Sal?"

Sal: "I care about us scrappers so your argument is wrong!"

Jack: "I meant the higher up's. All they care about is results and not caring to what happens to us."

Sal was quiet for a second. "Yeah,no you're right."

Rex: "Yeah, especially Jacques I get less payment because I am a Faunus."

Sal: "If I could I would beat the shit outta him but I can barely afford food let alone a ticket to Atlas."

Jack nods in agreement "We get paid by the scrap right?"

Rex: "Yeah we do."

Sal: "Mmm that Winter woman is kinda hot."

Jack: "And straight out of the blue Sal starts simping for a Schnee again."

Rex starts to chuckle "You know if she hears you she will break you like a twig right?"

Sal laughed before downing the rest of his drink "oh fuck off."

Jack shakes his head "So you hate the Schnees but you are willing to get into bed with one?"

Rex smiles and takes a drink.

Sal: "It's all Lust, no love. If there was love then that'd be a different story."

Jack: "Well say that when you get stomped in the face by that." Jack uses a bunny finger "Specialist."

Rex laughs as he does the truck finally shows up.

Sal: "Alright shit heads let's get to work... and it's not simping since i'm only calling her hot."

Jack: "You admitted it tho?"

Sal: "Hot, not sexy or cute or kind or beautiful like a certain female scrapper I know."

Rex walks behind them listening "You know Sal you always crack me up."

They all board the truck and head straight to the scrap yard where they get to work scrapping atlas ships and cars.

Jack was ripping pieces of the metal away while the other did the same thing in a hallway of a derelict atlas battleship Rex was tasked to rip the office apart while the others were tasked to rip the hallway.

Rex: "Jack I need your help on something. Can you be ready?"

Jack gave a thumbs up

Rex: "Sal you ready? Can you be ready?"

Sal: "when am I not?"

Rex: "ok I need help opening this door."

Jack finished what he was doing and walked over "What's wrong?"

Rex: "This door won't budge."

Sal: "Jack could use your semblance on it."

Jack: "Can't you use any of your tools on it?"

Rex: "I have but it won't budge."

Sal: "I need to get on the other side to figure out what's wrong."

Jack: "So you need me to use my semblance for that?"

Sal/Rex: "Yes."

Jack sighs "Alright, stand back."

They do so as Jack closes his eyes and begins using what seems to be a semblance the door starts to open slowly. As he focus on his semblance he sees the dream again but this time sees a man and what looks like the man giving him the weapon but something is different its design is unlike the others time he has the dream it still has a blue blade but a different cylinder look he looks closely and sees a blurry figure saying six words

???: "Maybe you can become a Jedi?"

As the mysterious man says this, Jack's eyes bolt up and the door is open.

Sal: "Nice a fine scrapper semblance you lucky bastard" he said as he went inside the office.

Rex walks up to Jack and looks at him as he does he notices something is up with Jack and he puts his hand on his shoulder "You ok buddy?"

Jack took a moment to think of what he heard and saw "Yeah.....I'm fine."

Rex nodded and went inside Jack followed. When they do, Sal finds something interesting.

Sal: "Get your asses over here! I found something weird!"

Jack and Rex walk over to see the commotion when they do see the object.

Jack: "Did the cleaners forget something?"

Rex: "It's not like them to forget stuff."

Sal: "I say we take it, see what it's worth."

Jack: "Can I see it?"

Sal nods and shows it to him.

Jack grabbed it and gave a nod to Sal and started to look at it "It looks old."

Rex: "Is it me or do you get an eerie vibe from it?"

Sal: "it's just a thing, a thing can't hurt you alone....right?"

As he said that he hears things whispering to him.

Sal took a step back "What the hell?!"

As he heard the whispers they all here the weather warning going on and sparks of lighting is heard

Jack: "I think it's time to go!"

Rex in a scared tone "Yeah!"

Sal: "Well, what're you waiting for?"

Jack: "Waiting for you to go."

Sal, Rex and Jack starts to leave the office and rush to make it outside when they see a massive storm of lightning striking down the ground other workers of the Scrappers run and dodge the storm trying to hide underneath stuff to protect themselves the three group starts to do the same until Jack was blocked off by a strike of lightning

Rex: "JACK!!!!"

But when the lightning was done striking down the ground Jack was missing and what was left was the artifact.
