Han's interview was tomorrow. She was slightly (slightly) nervous, but mostly arrogant. She had it down completely. She had only told me what she was going to say. And it was harsh. Swearing. And she was wearing wood. Not exactly flattering. Han the tree. But a sharp one, splinters.
Oh, well, how was Ceaser going to deal with that? Probably shocked, but would recover, he always does, even after the shyest, our kiss, someone screaming, I could never do that job, I would probably stare awkwardly and try desperately to make conversation.
I needed to see that, with everyone else polite, or tough.
She also was going to undress before Katniss, Peeta and Haymitch. Why? You only live once. That is also interesting. Quite interesting.

Today was the interview. I kissed Han goodbye and she cupped my face and kissed me back. She walked out and was ready for her stylist, ready for the waxing and makeup.
I watched Capitol news and a Capitol soap opera. I don't get the point behind them. People fall in love, out of love, back in love, fall pregnant, their kids hate them, marriage, divorce, death. Then oh look, they're still here, didn't die. Revenge, murder, and more confusing stuff. In district 12, it's meet, love, marriage, kids, happy, mines, death. Simple and sometimes sad, but simple. Also, we had to deal with starvation and mine explosions, so..
I saw the anthem and sign on the screen, interrupting the addicting soap opera. Gloss was first. He acted all nice and seemed to care about the Capitol citizens and fans. Actually all of the did with 3 minor exceptions. Did they actually care about them? Probably not. They just wanted to survive this hell of a game. The minor exceptions were:
Han: "FUCK YOU AND THE CAPITOL! I WAS PROMISED PEACE AND I'M FUCKING MAD!"
Wow. The audience was cheering her on, this was undeserved. Go her!
Katniss: her dress was a mockingjay, it was amazing, her stylist was amazing. Rebellion, here we go, as if it wasn't already bad.
Peeta: "Except for the baby." Everyone in the audience exploded. Katniss was pregnant. I saw her on the screen. It was fake, it had to be, she was only like 18, and why were they fucking? I was going to see her this afternoon.
After Peeta, they all went on stage. Ceaser thanked everyone, making a huge deal about how they were all going to die, except one, while everyone in the back began to do something. They were all holding hands. Joined. Another act of rebellion. The screen glitched and it went back the soap opera. What had happened?
Han came back up an hour after the interviews.
"How did I do?"
"Perfect."
"Oh, and I did it. Undress."
"How'd that go?"
I pulled her into a hug.
"Haymitch and Peeta liked it. And Katniss was like," she made a shocked face and a fake gasp.
I laughed.
"I'm going upstairs to visit Katniss."
I kissed her and walked to the elevator, after a few checks to make sure no one was watching, and pushed the familiar floor twelve.
