"You weren't going to tell me?" Ezra screamed as she pushed her brother into the wall of his office.

The men of the Venom gang were long gone leaving Dan and Ezra to discuss. Ezra had kept her brother in his office as she raged about his actions.

"I am a part of this gang. I deserve to know what is happening!"

"Ezra I couldn't tell you about this deal with Venom. I wasn't going to tell you because I wasn't planning on taking the deal."

Ezra groaned as she picked up a book from the desk, throwing it across the room in anger.

"The deal was about me! I should have been told!" She screamed.

"No it wasnt!" Daniel shouted, confusing Ezra. "The deal was never about you until today."

"What?" Ezra questioned with a now quiet voice.

Daniel sighed as he fell into his office chair. His elbows rested on his knees and his head was hidden in his hands. When he looked back up at his sister she felt as though stress had aged his young features.

"We had spoken about his protection for some of Knights men. Ryder wanted more, so I offered him money. It still wasn't enough." Daniel groaned as he got from his chair and paced the room. "He didn't tell me he'd be coming to America. When we were talking he added more to the deal. He wanted millions of dollars and hundreds of my best men."

"He knows we can't afford to give that up. If we did, his protection would mean nothing. We would be nothing," Ezra tried to make reason of the issue.

"Yes, and he knew that. That is exactly why he asked for it. He knew we couldn't afford it and knew I'd be willing to give him anything else. That was when he mentioned you." Daniel began to speak faster as he grew angrier. "He said he would help us if we handed you over. If you joined his gang, he would give us protection. All this time he knew it was you that he wanted!"

Daniels fist flung out and hit the wall closest to him. A hole formed under the force of his punch. Ezra shook her head as she tried to take in all of the information she was given. Ryder came to America planning on taking Ezra back with him.

"Why would he want me?" She questioned.

Daniel couldn't help but laugh at his sisters cluelessness.

"You're the best tracker in the world. Anyone with a brain would want you in their gang."

"It doesn't make sense why he would come all the way here to tell you that he wants me in his gang," Era sighed.

"He came here because he is expecting you to go back with him." Ezra furrowed her eyebrows at her brother. "Ez, he threatened us. He threatened to take us down. Kill us all."

Ezra sat down in shock. Her brain twisted as she tried to comprehend the situation she had been thrown into.

"I'll go," Ezra spoke up, surprising even herself.

"No you won't." Daniel shut her down.

"Dan, this is the only way to save you and everyone else I care about. I am doing this."

Daniel looked into his sisters eyes and saw that she would not back down. With a long sigh, he spoke.

"Then you better get packing. Ryder said they would be back in a few hours for an answer."

Ezra nodded and hurried out of her brothers office. She held her head high, not letting any emotions show. Tears would never fall from her eyes. In her room, she quickly packed her clothing and most prized positions. By the time she was done, she could hear the sound of the front door opening.
