Stiles POVIt's night, and the city blinks with a thousand of lights. "How long are we going to wait?" I say to myself while playing with the ends of my shirt. I shiver under the autumn air, the cold breeze kisses my face and limbs.
We're now in a long queue to one of the most renown clubs in the city called 'Midnight'. I'm wearing a red marvel shirt with tight black jeans, I was going to wear sweat pants but Lydia would kill me.
I just sigh to myself and just thinking how some friends (*cough* Lydia *cough*) are more trouble than they are worth.
"We're nearly there. Don't be too stiff, Stiles. Tonight is going to be great!" Lydia says as she drags me in the club. Unfortunately, I don't have her enthusiasm for clubbing. People go clubbing to hook up. And I'm too awkward for people. I would probably scare them away from how much I talk. Yet I'm here to accompany Lydia for tonight. Well, just for tonight. Even if there is a next time, I'm just going to stay in my room and watch disney movies.
Finally, we're in and I'm glad to be out of the cold. We walk towards the dance floor, my eyes wide trying to absorb the scenery around me. The dance floor is filled with people dancing to the beat. I swallow hard, my heart pulsing wildly, beating like the wings of a hummingbird.
Lydia laughs as she pulls me into the dance floor, her hips already moving rhythmically to the wild, hypnotic music. The music beats into my ears, my nostrils flares at the sweet dangerous smell of lust around me. "Come on, Stiles. Let's dance to the music!" Lydia yells towards me since the music is so damn loud.
Lydia lifts her arms in the air, swaying her ass, her head bobbing to the tempo. I follow suit and soon, we're dancing until my skin is sheened with sweat. I wipe my forehead with the back of my hand as I try to catch my breath. "Let's go grab some drinks." I yell over the noise. Lydia nods her head quickly for she too, is thirsty from the dance. We push through the throng of dancing couples towards the bar.
I perch on a bar stool, nodding to the bartender. "We'll have tequila. Two shots." Lydia says before I can say anything. "I was going for orange juice," I say crossly. "We're in a nightclub. Alcohol is a must. Go wild just for tonight, Stiles." counters Lydia and ending the conversation.
The bartender smiles pleasantly in agreement while he fixes our drinks. I turn to face Ana, but her attention is already on the guy sitting next to her. Our drinks arrives, and I tap Lydia's shoulder for attention. She glances at me quickly, before grabbing her own glass, and returns back to the guy.
I sigh loudly. She begs me to accompany her, and now she's ignoring me for some random hot guy. I grab my glass and down the alcohol quickly. The alcohol burns in my throat and I force myself not to sputter and cough. Who the heck drinks this shit.
"Stiles, I'm going to dance with Aiden. Don't wait up for me. He'll drive me home" As Lydia says this, her hands sneak up behind this Aiden dude and wraps them around his waist. I look at her in disbelief. "But what about our plan to hang out and get wasted? It's the only reason why I'm here!" I say a little over dramatic. I know I sound whiny, but I'm too pissed beyond care. She asked me to go with her, and now she's ditching me with some man?
Lydia ignores the anger in my tone, and giggles as this Aiden slides his hand across her back. "Help a girl out here, Stiles. Just for tonight. Let me enjoy myself. Class starts tomorrow and I can't be sober for the boring lecture." said Lydia.
I'm still dumbfounded when she leaves me with her new guy to the dance floor. Shall I just leave? I'm kinda pissed that she just ditched me. And being angry makes me feel reckless. I ask for another shot of tequila and the bartender complies.
I grab the glass and swallow the alcohol. I gasp out, my head spinning a little. The alcohol in my system dampens my sour mood, the buzz numbing my thoughts. So this is why people drink... I fell like I'm flying.
"So you got ditched too, huh?" I swivel to the voice. A man moves on to the bar stool next to me, where Lydia had been. He must have seen my confused expression as he clarifies, "I'm Derek. I was with that douchebag who's now trying to hag your friend on the dance floor." I follow his eyes to the dance floor. Sure enough, Lydia and Aiden are dry humping each other, their hips grinding.
I revert my gaze back to this man, for he is far more interesting then seeing my friend shoving her tongue down that poor guy's throat. "You're his friend" I ask Derek with curiosity in my eyes. He turns his attention back to me and smirks. My heartbeat quickens, seeing that devilish grin on his face. Wow... he's gorgeous.
My eyes stares hungrily at him. He looks much older than me. His skin is slightly tan, which is a contrast to his thick, sinfully black hair. "Unfortunately" said Derek. "Well... you're not like your friend though." I say back to the man. He looks at me with interest, his green eyes penetrates into my honey brown ones. My heart is still going that crazy cartwheels. What's going on with me?!
I don't understand. I don't normally behave like this even towards beautiful men like Derek. This stranger can just reduce me into a puddle of hot mess just by his presence alone. He is one of the most beautiful men I've ever seen, but it's his eyes that lures me like a fly to the web.
His green eyes are dazzling, like how beautiful nature is, and when they bore holes into me, I feel suddenly naked. Exposed. As if he's undressing me with his eyes. My mouth is suddenly dry, as I watch his perfectly-formed lips shape out words. "What do you think I'm like then?" He brings his face closer to mine, his voice low and deep. My cheeks are warm, from his words or alcohol, I don't know. The only thing I'm aware of is this handsome stranger in front of me.
"Um..." I peek at him through my long eyelashes suddenly nervous. "You don't play with boys," I whisper, my voice turning husky. Derek looks at me in surprise and laughs. His chest vibrates with a low baritone-chuckle, his eyes swirls with dangerous mischief. He leans forward, his nose buries in my hair, and inhale sharply. My whole body tingles, realizing he is inhaling my scent. His lips are next to my ear, and I hear his words kisses the air, and my ears feel wet with his warm exhale.
"I don't play with little boys like you; I have a taste for young men." I stare dumbfounded at Derek. "I am too a man!" I whisper yell at him. Derek simply chuckles at my fail of an argument. I felt my face flushed red in embarrassment and this weird feeling. I hesitantly lean in and give a chaste kiss to Derek. Words ghosted his lips after the chaste kiss. "Well if you want to see that I am a man to your taste; lets find out tonight."
I feel sorta confident so I winked at Derek and walked towards the exit.
__---__Different POV__---__
I, Derek Hale has been flirted with a college student and to top that off is actually quite gorgeous. Without really thinking with my mind and just thinking with my hard on, I rushed to the exit. passing by through the swarms of bodies especially drunk as hell people. After making my down to the exit; I nodded to Boyd and left.
Seeing that boy with cute flushed cheeks and a button nose made me want to kiss him. But on the other hand that would break the rules I made for myself. One night stands, stay as one night stands. While talking to myself in my mind; I bump into the boy with a button nose.
A gaze turned into a kiss, a kiss turned into a battle of clashing teeth and tongue. The kiss became more and more desperate. I pulled away and stared at the hazy eyes of him. I simply stated "come on" and started walking away. I heard him catching up with me; Stiles said "Of course good looking."
