To be Blind

We begin with a basic level of understanding. As humans, we possess five significant senses. The first is sight, then comes hearing, followed by smell, taste, and the sensation of touch.

Now, what do you understand by the word 'Numb' ?

Going by its definition, one might say it means living a life deprived of the gift of sensation. Here,  the importance of highlighting the power of sense is necessary. We begin by exploring our vision first.

What would one realize if he's proven to be blind? Will it be the lack of sight? Or is it something that occurs when the only thing one can see is darkness?

What if I told you, "We are Blind/Partially Blind." I would appreciate your thinking and believing in your answer. It seems foolish and makes no sense; after all, most of us are physically capable of vision, and that is why our empathy has lost meaning.

The art of asking meaningful questions and the thirst for answers is the spirit of philosophy. When asked about the meaning of blindness,  the shared ideology refers to the lack of sight or the inability to see things entirely or partially. Subjectively we may be wholly or partially blind.

But looking deep within our minds, we'll realize that we do not need to lose our sight to be considered blind. The ignorance within us is something that keeps us in the dark and corrupts our vision.

Looking only at the bigger picture makes us blind to the more minor things in life. Likewise, always focusing on small things blinds us to the bigger things in life. When we savor success, we often forget what failure tastes like. Therefore it is necessary to keep the vision of your progress at the same time to remain humble.

Seeing things only for our motive blinds us from the perspective of the people around us. Only when we understand ignorance can we surpass it. The consequences of turning blind have a fair share in destroying our lives. When one goes blind, they lose their sense of judgment, and their values hang on to the extreme ends. They lose their path and continue delusionally assuming they are right. They start looking for flaws amongst others and let their failures will turn into their personality. They start chasing materialistic desires without looking at the mess they have left behind.

The one who wants to be seen keeps doing things that stand out. But those who wish to be remembered, start looking at things from others' perspectives.

For a man, failure isn't an enemy. Instead what breaks him apart is the disappointment it causes amongst people depending upon him.

When one says everyone has a unique perspective. What quality of our vision proves it correct?

Hypothetically speaking, What if a lion and a mule started living in the same den. After a year, will the lion gain the mule's attributes or vice versa?

Suppose you have found your answer. I'd like you to pay close attention. Why do we assume the lion as the positive side and the mule as the opposing end? The mule lives a life of labor and lives nearly five times longer than the lion. On the other hand, the lion is obnoxiously lazy but is considered an alpha amongst the rest. The question here was not to strike conflict but to foreshadow how narrow our perspectives have gotten.

Likewise, Our perspective in life is also based on certain stereotypes. To broaden our vision means to refine one's perspectives, thinking beyond what's expected, looking at the bigger picture in more minor things, and gauging indiscriminately.
