His Choice - Prologue

Prologue

"Daddy... Daddy... Where are they taking mommy? " A 10 year old boy said in between his sobs. He was scared. One moment they were a happy family and then some guards were taking the boy's mother. His Father was in his knees, begging those guards to leave his mate. But they didn't budge. They repeated the same sentence again "It's the Alpha's order".

The man on his knees now got angry and screamed "What Alpha? We don't have any Alpha.We are rouges.Why doesn't he let us live by ourselves. What right does he have-".. He has yet to complete his sentence when a guard kicked him in his stomach and the little boy cried more seeing this scene being unfolded in front of his eyes.

"Don't disrespect our Alpha"- One of the guard said in a voice dripping with malice.

The boy ran towards the guard and tried to fight him but he was no match for a trained wolf. The guard ignored the boy and injected the man with something that made him scream in pain.

" What's it? " He managed to say it in between his pained gasps. The guard looked at him and said-" Nothing.. Just making sure that you got a good sleep rather than making troubles for us".After saying that they made their way out from that small cabin situated in the 'no men's land'.

The man tried his best to not sleep, to protect his mate from those evil people but he failed miserably. He felt lost. He would take his revenge. For killing his mate, for taking his other half from him, for making him lonely and alone in this large world.

But then his eyes fell in his son, who is now crying , making him feel suffocated. He will take his revenge and is ready to die as his life is already worthless without his mate. But what about his son? He has his future, mate and dreams. He doesn't want to drag him with his miserable revenge plan.

"Loren"- he called his son with all his power.

"Daddy"- the boy replied wiping his tears and snot with his hands.

" You are daddy and mummy's good boy. So listen to me baby. There are many bad guys here. So they took mummy away. I am going to bring her back but you can't stay here.Go to another pack to stay but never mention your parents. Tell them that you're a orphan, no matter how close you're." The boy nodded his head without understanding anything.

The man kissed the boy's forehead and before slipping into slumber muttered "We love you." As a final goodbye to his son.
