Your POV
Throughout the rest of the airship were small tasks to do with the Pumpinator. They were quite easy, especially with Newton helping you along the way.
But now you had finished them all. Newton was talking about going to Stitchem Manor, but you cut him off.
"Newton, can we get some rest please?" You asked, glancing at him. Newton blinked.
"Oh... Uh, sure, chum. I suppose we can do this tomorrow." You were honestly a little shocked by his response. You figured he'd want to save Bunkum as soon as possible, but you didn't mind.
You gave him a small smile. "Thank you."
"U-uh... Um... Y-you're w-welcome," Newton stuttered. You giggled softly upon seeing the small crackle of pink electricity on his cheeks. He was quite cute in your opinion.
Newton, still flustered, grabbed your hand and lead you somewhere else. Upon realization it was a bedroom; presumably his, with blueprints sketched hastily here and there.
You took the time to look at them. They were quite creative in your opinion, but as to not seeing any of them in the airship, you assumed that Newton hadn't had the chance to make them.
"You can sleep in here. I'll come get you in the morning," Newton said. You turned to look at him.
"But what about yourself?"
"I'll be fine. I don't sleep that much anyways." You nodded.
You gave him a quick hug before climbing onto the bed and pulling up the covers. Newton stuttered something before dipping his head and darting out of the room.
With a small smile, you laid your head down and closed your eyes. Today went well.
Newton's POV
Newton hurried out of the room. He never imagined the person who'd be helping would be so kind!
"And cute," he breathed, just loud enough for him to hear.
At this point, he was starting to feel bad about lying to them. But he must! No one would ever understand his intentions.
With a small sigh, Newton bowed his head once more and walked off.
