"You have come of age, my son. It's time you get married to one of the finest lady's of the lands, princess Ochako of Wourian Empire." My father spoke as I knelt before him in the castle hall where his chair stood.

"Father I-" I started to protest.

"Prepare yourself, for the marriage will be held tomorrow night." He interrupted knowing I was going to protest against him once again.

I rose and looked at him "I don't understand why I have to-"

"Enough Izuku! You were born royalty and that's what you shall be. Wether you like it or not." He spoke with anger in his voice.

"I wish I was never born into this stupid royal family!" I yelled and stomped my foot running up to my room.

I pulled my hoodie on over my head and opened the window above my bed. "Fuck this.." I said and slipped out the window and snuck out of the castle walls.

Saying I was the prince I knew the easiest way to sneak out of the castle walls without getting caught.

The sound of horses feet clapping against the rocks and dirt on the ground along with the talk and laughter of people filled the air.

I walked the streets of Veokar, which I had grew up in. I wasn't aloud out of the castle often growing up, mainly only to accompany my father on business deals. This was my first time out of the castle on my own, it was time to explore and hopefully not get caught by any guards.

I pulled the hood over my head and proceeded to walk around looking at everything around me, the smell of freshly baked bread filled my senses as I walked by a specific tent that was set up.

I turned towards the smell and saw this boy carrying to much for himself to handle. He started to wobble slightly and I could tell he was about to fall.

He started to trip and I quickly caught the bread that had flown out of his hands, luckily he had caught himself.

He looked up at me blushing in embarrassment. His hand rest itself on the back of his neck, "sorry about that.." he said. I stared in amazement, he looked so.. cool I guess? "I-I can take those from you" he spoke holding a hand out.

"R..right.." I said, I shook my head to wake myself up from my trance and handed the bread back to him.

He took the bread and looked at me with curious eyes, "are you new around here?" He asked.

I bit my lip slightly, "not exactly.." I replied.

"Not exactly?" He questioned.

"Would you believe me if I said I was the prince that lives in the castle up there?" I asked pointed back to the castle with my thumb.

"Are you impersonating the prince?!" He whisper shouted.

"What?! No!" I sighed and looked around, I took the bread from his hands and put them down and grabbed his hand and drag him toward the river that was quiet a bit away from Veokar village.

I looked back at the redheaded boy. "You can't like.. tell anyone about this." I said kneeling by the river and picking up a couple rocks and skipping them across the river.

"Okay.." he said nervously.

I looked at him once more and breathed harshly. I slipped the hood of my head and looked at him, "what do you think..?" I asked.

"Woah.. I'm meeting a prince right now! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! I can't believe this is happening."

I laughed a little as he started going on about how excited he was.

I smiled a real smile for the first time in forever.

We stayed there, talking and skipping rocks across the river for hours, but like how days go.. it came to an end.

Before we knew it, it was dusk. "Unfortunately.. I should get going." I said.

"Unfortunately.." he repeated back to me. "Does that mean I won't be seeing you for awhile?" He asked.

I looked up at the sky as rain started to fall, "this isn't goodbye, this is just.. I'll see you some other time." I said standing up looking at him.

He looked down for a moment then looked back up at me a nodded his head

I sighed as I turned and walked away toward the castle.

~Kirishima's POV~

I watched as Izuku walked away from me. Something inside me stirred. Something about that boy.. makes me feel.. special.
