━━━━━━ SLOANE STOOD NEXT TO THE kiddie dragon ride at the annual fun town fair.
Jax, Tig, and Bobby were living out their childhood dreams, the trio whooping and hollering loudly as they all laughed and giggled.
She couldn't help the smile that was pinned to her face by pure amusement as they got off the ride after their second time around.
"I swear you guys are children," she teased the tough biker men as the Teller man wrapped a heavy arm around the blonde's shoulder.
"And you're too grown up," Jax quipped back. "You should've rode on it with us."
"That has to be the slowest ride here. I like to ride a little faster than that." Sloane teased in a low drawl against the man's scruffy cheek.
"I bet you like to go real fast," he rasped back.
Her fingers came up to fiddle with the seam of his kutte. "Honey, you have no idea."
Tig stole her from under his vice president's, as she flashed a dirty smirk at the shell shocked biker.
"I want a beer." The crazy eyed man declared, tugging the younger girl with him as they all made their way to the liquor booth.
"Before I forget, I talked to Fawn the other day." Sloane mentioned, the father of two snapping his attention towards the curvaceous woman.
"Oh, yeah? How is she?" Tig tried not to show that he was eagerly awaiting her reply, but as always, the nurse knew as she let a smile stretch across her mouth.
"She's good, they both are. She and Dawn are living in San Diego, and Dawn actually got a job at a vet's office to be a secretary. Fawn is still on her fast track to being a lawyer, and she said she's thinking about moving to Chicago once she's finished with school. There's a firm up there that she did an internship with last summer that are really interested in her. So, it's safe to say they're doing great."
When Tig's daughters would come around for their supervised visits with their father before they turned eighteen, Sloane had became close with Fawn, his oldest daughter and closest in age with her, who wanted nothing to do with her dad after she became of age, not approving of the son's lifestyle.
The two girls had stayed in contact over the years, even attending the same community college in the Bay Area, where Fawn still lived.
Dawn was a little slicker than her sister, it was clear that she was the daughter of Tig, that was for sure.
The younger woman had gotten into some pretty hard drugs over the years— the dealers wanted cash, Tig wanted a relationship with his daughters. So, the little snake would come running to her daddy for money, who would do whatever it took to spend time with his children.
Tig loved and appreciated the small updates that he would get from the nurse. He was all for the relationship between Jax and Sloane, and while it was selfish, he knew that if the nurse had an anchor in Charming, he would have an in to hearing about his daughters.
"Thank you, doll." The sergeant pressed a thankful friendly kiss to her temple, his usual weirdness and lewd actions replaced with gratitude.
"It's not a problem, Tigger. You know that." she knocked her jean shorted hip against his.
"I'm definitely buying you a drink now," he grinned.
