CHAPTER 1

ERIKA'S POV:

I am here now in singapore and I am with my older brother kuya vinny. We are both studying here. He is finishing his master's degree here and I am only a 1 year collage palang so I will be here for a long time. but if we want to go home to the philippines then we will go home.

Sometimes I want to go home to the Philippines because I really miss my mom,dad and my other older brothers. My daddy is running as president of our town and I want to be there to support him but I'm here,we're here ni kuya far from them but that's okay. Our older brother also runs like dad but he will run for congressman. I can only talk to him once because he's always busy ... I miss him and mommy but we have to study so I can show their diploma when I get home

"Erika tawag kana ng kuya mo" that's nanny ana. my second mom. "susunod na po ako nanny" i answer.

Nanny Ana has been our nanny for the longest time, she has taken care of our 4 since we were children and we consider her us our second mother. She is the only one I tell my secrets because I trust her. May tiwala din naman ako kina kuya pero they all busy tsaka they always pagalitan me kaya ayoko magsabi sa kanila.

After a minutes bumaba narin ako kasi sabi nila na masamang pinaghihintay ang pagkain at naghihintay din si kuya vince sakin sa baba.

"you're so tagal i'm hungry na!" inis na asik nya.

"hehe sorry,nagpaganda lang po ako"sagot ko.

"you are always beautiful baby girl"aniya at tumingin ako sa kanya.

"kuya can you please stop calling me like that? i'm not a child anymore!"asik ko.

"sus whatever you say you are still our baby" he answer and i rolled my eyes nalang.

"I'll be eighteen next year so I'm not young anymore" dagdag ko pa.

"even if you're 20, you're still our baby girl" aniya ulit.
"Just deal with it nalang bunso" dagdag nya pa.

"Oo nalang kuya" i answered nalang kasi alam ko naman na ang ending yun padin ang tawag nila sakin.

Nagyaya si kuya na magmall kami kasi gusto nya daw ng bonding ewan ko ba dito kay kuya we are always together at home naman pero hindi pa pala bonding yun.

"libre mo ba kuya?" I ask at natawa sya. "as always"he answer then he rolled his eyes. "do i have money?"tanong ko sa kanya. "nakita ko ang gcash mo,pinadalhan ka ni mom" sagot nya. Nakita nya pala yun. we went to different shoe stores because he said he would buy me even though I still had too much at home

"Kuya, it's too much, I won't wear it all naman eh" asik ko.

"edi uwi mo sa philippines" sagot nya at natigilan ako kaya tumingin ako sa kanya.

"uuwi tayo?" masayang tanong ko.

"next month before Christmas" sagot nya at natuwa ako.

Para akong bata dito na nagtatatalon sa tuwa.

"omg ka nakakahiya bunso"

he's stopping me. I just can't believe we're going home na and we'll be able to spend Christmas with them. Many Christmases have passed since my older brother vinny and I just celebrated together, but now we will be complete. I'm so happy.

Nang makauwi sa bahay ay nagtungo na ako sa kwarto para magbihis at magpalit ng damit. 7pm na at we're done eating.
I think my kuya vinny is asleep na or is he still studying pa? Gusto ko syang tignan sa kwarto nya pero baka makaabala ako kung may ginagawa sya kaya heto nakaupo nalang ako sa may couch ng varenda ko at nakatingin sa mga bituin. "Umaga pa sa kanila diba? shall i call them but they maybe busy" i said to myself. I took a deep breath before going back to my bed. dahil sa pagod ay mabilis akong nakatulog.

Nagising ako ng makarinig ako ng ingay mula sa baba. i think kuya will play his music again but it's still early inaantok pa ako pero sa tingin ko ay hindi na ako makakatulog sa ingay ng patugtog ni kuya. Bumaba na ako.

"Kuya ang aga nyan!"asik ko.

"Oh goodmorning baby girl" he shouted kasi malakas yung sound.

"hindi kaba nabibingi?" sambit ko ng lumapit ako sa audio at hininaan ang volume.

"hindi" sagot nya.

I rolled my eyes to him nalang at nag punta sa kusina para kumain. Nanny ana prepared my breakfast. It’s bacon, eggs, rice, bread and milk. "kumain na po ba si kuya?" I asked my nanny. "Oo kanina pa,ang aga nga nya eh" she answered and i nooded nalang at kumain na.

Lumipas ang isang buwan at ngayon kami babalik ng pilipinas. I'm supper excited kasi makikita ko na ulit sila pero sana hindi na sila busy pero malabo yun. dad and kuya are politicians. Kuya vinny and i are ready to meet them. I brought a lot of chocolates because it's our favorite with brother simon.

"Are you excited bunso?" he asked we were already in the car and we were going to the airport. Nagpaalam muna kami kina nanny ana at sa iba pang tao sa bahay bago umalis. Ilang months lang namin kami dun eh kaya babalik din kami agad ng singapore.

"supper kuya,i miss them!" sagot ko and he smiled. We are already on the plane na. Mahaba pa ang byahe kaya natulog muna kami. Umaga kami umalis sa singarpore kaya sure kami na gabi kami makakababa sa pilipinas.

Saktong 10am nang lumapag ang eroplano na sinasakyan namin. I want to hug them na. "alam ba nila na uuwi tayo kuya?" I asked. "yes,let's go straight to Silang, dad seems to have a party there" he answered. "Party? What kind of party kuya?" i asked again. "Welcome party i guess?" aniya at sumakay kami sa kotse na sundo namin. we're going there now and I'm so excited to see them na.

When we got down there were so many people and media here. Buti nalang at may mga guards at staff na naghaharang sa kanila kaya nakapasok na kami sa party. when mommy saw me I immediately ran to her and hugged her.

"I miss you mom" i'm about to cry na pero pinigilan ko.
"I also miss you my baby girl" she said "how are you baby?" She ask. "Mom i told you i'm not a baby na but i'm so happy mom" sagot ko. "I know but you're still my baby girl" she answered and i smiled.

Dad hugged me too. "I miss my baby" dad said. "I miss you too daddy" I hugged him tightly. "how is our princess?" Dad asked. "Okay naman po ako daddy" i answered and he hug me agaid. dad really miss me...

I ran when I saw kuya sandro. "Kuya?" I called him and he was surprised. "Oh you're here na,i miss you" he said and he hug me. "I miss you too kuya" i hug him back. "ang laki mo na,already have a boyfriend?" He asked agad. "what the hell no wala ako nun at ayoko nun kuya" i answered. "thanks god..good" sambit nya and i laughed.

Kuya simon ran to me when he saw me. "Hey i miss you" he hug me agad. "I miss you too kuya si!" I hug him back too caused i miss him so much.."how is our princess" he asked parehas sila ng tanong ni dad. "Well i'm okay naman kuya,ikaw po? May ate na ba ako?" I asked and he laugh. "ask sandro maybe he already has it but me? I do not have that" he replied. "Kuya sands already has?" I ask. kuya sandro is not here because he also went to kuya vince. "I don't think so..but yeah siguro? But he's too busy for that"he replied again. Nag-usap pa kami ni kuya simon ng kung ano ano nang bigla kaming tawagin ni mom and pops na umakyat daw kami sa stage. the host also called.

they just welcomed us back and took a picture. dad's staff we knew also hugged us and they said they missed us and we also missed them,there are also those who ask for video greets from us but most of them are fans of kuya sandro. I know kuya is a politician, not an artist haha ​​but yeah I'm very happy with him and proud. after the party we went home as well. kuya simon is a bit drunk but kuya sandro was just on his cellphone the whole party, did he enjoy the party?

when we got home we went in immediately because it was too late. I missed this house of ours, nothing has changed but it's still nice. I took mom and dad to their room because they are not allowed to get tired because of their age. My kuya's are already in their respective rooms and I, instead of sleeping, have been able to walk around the house. I only remember when my kuya's and I were kids. I still remember when I cried here in the chair because brother vinny took my dad's gift of a pillow. I also went to the kitchen and imagined that tomorrow we will eat together here at our table.

I decided that tomorrow I will continue the tour here because I'm already sleepy so I went up to my room..
