Being an only child means getting everything you desire. Clothes, luxury toys, limousines, extravagant gifts, money. Everything. Jungkook is able to get all of that in just a single snap. He was born with a lot of privilege in this world and others were envious, believing he was the luckiest creature alive, but in reality, it was the opposite.
Living with lots of advantages does not imply having special rights at home. Making others jealous of his social standing somehow doesn't guarantee that they will treat him nicely. If being an only child means getting all you want, then why can't he gain his father's attention? That was all he desire.
He followed all of his dad's orders and fulfilled all of his conditions when he was still a kid. Be academically successful, accomplish all of school works on time, don't stay up all night, be polite with everyone, and don't use the status to belittle others. He did all of that. He became the greatest puppet his dad had always controlled. But then why? Why is it now that he is already an adult, he still can't earn even a glimpse of his dad's attention?
How much does it cost? Was he not good enough? Were all of his efforts back then not enough? How long does he have to wait for it? How long?
Until now, those questions remained unanswered. If being wealthy and privileged means being like this, then he doesn't want it. All he wants is his father and he would go to any length just to get the family that should have been his in the first place.

After such a long time, I was finally able to publish a book again. It was tough to feel unmotivated, but our jikook and jikookers helped me fuel the fire, so here I am, trying to write once again.
