Not only friends? Yoru x Phoenix (Valorant)

Chapter 4

The ride to icebox was pretty quite. Non of the two boys talked to each other. Phoenix however gave Yoru a few glances. He couldn't stop admiring him. The boy in front of him was to breath taking. Even tho he didn't smile that often he loved his face. His personality wasn't the best but for Phoenix it was perfect. The body of the boy was also very build. The thought about the boy made him blush and gave him this feeling to look at him again. What Phoenix didn't knew that Yoru felt the same. He loved Phoenix's face, body even his sometimes stupid personality. When Phoenix looked at Yoru, since he was already staring at him, made both of them blush even more. 'Did we just made eye contact? The moment was so wonderful', both of them thought, Phoenix even smiled. Yoru just let out a quite laugh. On Phoenix side he heard the laugh. 'It's so cute', Phoenix couldn't help again and smiled of the thought of how cute Yoru's laugh was.

The jet arrived at icebox. It didn't land because of the security system at icebox. They had many sensors to see something incoming until the spike exploded or they defused it. The enemies always had to set up now sensors. Sadly for the enemies it doesn't pick up when people are nearby, so it's easier for the Valorant agents to come and defuse the spike. Yoru went to the left side and Phoenix took the other side. On Phoenix's side was a Skye and Omen clone. He hid in a container to spy on them. Yoru was in his dimensional drift. On top of a container was Chamber's clone. He wanted to come from behind and shoot him. "What's taking so long? I thought your faster", Phoenix was annoyed that Yoru still hasn't said anything to make a step forward. "I'm fast idiot. Your just impatient", he scoffed. "Well, I'm going to shot them", the firebird got his gun ready. "No, we can't do that. I'm desperate for a fight but the plan won't go as we planned it with Brimstone when you just go", Yoru rolled his eyes, after his sentence. "It still will go as planned won't. I'll will show you", he said proudly of himself. "Phoenix don't!", his partner shouted in the microphone. It was already to late. The firebird already ran out and placed his fire wall.

At the valorant headquarters Jett and Raze made a bet, about who's gonna confess first. Yoru or Phoenix? "I think my man has more guts than the Japanese boy", Jett smirked. She really hoped he's gonna confess first because the winner will receive 100 bucks from the loser. Raze smirked back and shocked her head as a no. "This man doesn't want to have a bad relationship between him and Yoru. I bet Yoru is going to confess first", Raze smirked again. She was sure that Yoru was more confidence then Phoenix. "It's on", Jett said to her friend and shakes her hand. The Korean girl told Raze about Phoenix having a crush on Yoru. Even tho she wasn't sure if he really had an crush on him, she could tell that Yoru was something special towards him. Yoru looked very cold. But she saw him blushing because of her best friend. It is very rare to see Yoru showing emotions but when he was showing them, he really tried to hide them but failing hard.

Phoenix ran on the other side of his fire wall. Skye's and Omen's clone were trying to shoot him down from the other side. They didn't knew where he was so they shot somewhere random throw the wall from Phoenix. Chamber got his ult ready. He took his sniper and tried to find a good aim point to shoot him straight throw the head. Yoru just got out of his dimensional drift and aimed at Chamber's head. He fired and shot the mirror straight through his head with his sheriff. On Phoenix's side he was still running. He turned to his left that wasn't the best idea. He got surrounded by Omen and Skye. Skye stood behind him and Omen in front of him. "Well, sad for you fire boy. This is your ticket to die", Omen said and aimed his gun at Phoenix's head. He wanted to pull the trigger but instead he fell on the cold ground. Phoenix was confused but he heard from behind that Skye wanted to pull the trigger. The boy dodged it but he didn't knew she shot again and hit him on his side. He fell to the ground and crashed into the containers walls. Skye laughed. "Your really going to die", she aimed at his body again. He wasn't focused at her because of the pain.

'Shit he's going to die', Yoru thought and ran from behind to Skye. He pulled the trigger from his gun on time before she shot his teammate. She also fell to the ground. "Are you okay!?", Yoru shouted. Scared that his teammate got a good shot on his side. "I-I'm good, i think", Phoenix coughed out blood as he said that. "D-defuse the spike", he pointed at the flying objects. Yoru looked at him with an worried face but Phoenix smiled and coughed blood again. The rift walker had to defuse the spike or they'll both die here. He ran to the spike and crouched in front of it. It was halfway through and it looked like he wasn't going to do it. 'Faster c'mon!", Yoru hoped that he could still do it. On the last second he defused it. A sigh of relief escaped his mouth. The Japanese boy heard someone coughing again. 'Shit Phoenix', he made his way to Phoenix. There he was sitting in front of him. Blood was coming out of his mouth and from his side. "W-What happened to you?", he asked Phoenix scared at how he looked. His eyes had no emotions like normal and he smiled even while he was in pain. "I-i just got shot. I think it hit me good", he stutters a bit. "Your losing too much blood idiot! Stop smiling! I will call Sage now!", he looked at Phoenix and took his hand.

"Yoru to Sage or Brimstone! Can you hear me?", the team heard from the microphone. "We hear you. Did you defuse it?", Brimstone asked impatiently. "Yea, i did but Phoenix looks like he's going to pass out. He lost to much blood. Call the jet now!", he heard in Yoru's voice that he cared about Phoenix. "Will do", he replied. "Sova, call the jet to get them", he commanded him. Sova nodded and talked to the pilot on the jet. "Their coming to get them in two minutes, captain", Sova said to his captain. "The jet will arrive in two minutes go to the landing place where you two jumped off", he said to Yoru. "On my way", Yoru replied.

"Jamie, don't die please", he picked Phoenix up and carried him to the spot where the jet will pick them up. Yoru had to hold back his tears. Seeing Phoenix like this made his heart shatter in thousands of pieces. The Brit turned his head a bit and looked in Yoru's eyes. 'He shouldn't cry about me. I'm not that important', he thought and tried to say something but his throat was to dry to say anything. The jet just landed when Yoru spotted it. He ran to it and saw Skye on the jet. "Come Yoru! I'm going to heal him a bit. Sage will take care of the rest", she shouted from the distance. When he reached it, the girl jumped down and helped him up with Phoenix. Together they placed him on a bed. The jet took of and made it's way to the headquarters. With a blurred vision Phoenix looked around and saw Skye trying to stop his bleeding a bit with bandages. On the other side Yoru looked at him with scared eyes what could happen to him. The boy on the bed already lost to much blood and fell unconscious.
