"Thank you"  the woman gracefully smiled at the shop owner.

She left happily with her new gifts in her arm.

Smiling, she walked out of the shop, which indicated with the bell ringing. Her face scrunched a little when she felt the breeze.

Months had past and December had reached to them, making it awfully cold.

In the busy streets of London, men and women in coats and full with hands of bags walked past.

Even the weather couldn't ruin her mood. It was Christmas Eve, and she just got a few last minute presents to put under the tree.

Walking gracefully with two full bags and a warm oversized coat, her boots clicked everytime she walked.

she sighed looking towards the sky,
"No snow" she breath under her breath.

She wished for snow. She loved it. It always brought pleasant memories. However, this year no snow appeared.

On the other end a man watched her every move. He couldn't help but awe at her. He made sure to not stare much so she wouldn't feel like she was being watched. Once in a while he would turn to look at other things. It was new for him. The country. It was nothing like his home country. Cold, it was here. He couldn't help but tighten his expensive Gucci coat which was styled with a black Armani suit underneath.

He had no idea his feet had started moving towards her. He stared at her looking at the sky and sighing. Why is she disappointed? He thought. He couldn't help but glance at the sky and frown slightly because it upset her.

They both had no idea they had reached towards each other whilst many people shuffled on the busy street.

"Oh no.. " she said when she bumped into someone. She didn't even look towards the person as her bags were about to fall on the floor. Hurriedly, she balanced them and smiled knowing nothing fell.

The bright smile fell of as soon as she looked towards the person who had a blank look on his face. He was lost admiring her beauty. He couldn't believe he was in her presence. It had been so long. Inside, he felt warm. Home, he thought.

"Ohh" a shaky breath left her lips and her eyes started to turn glassy.

She stetched her hand towards him as a longing smile appeared on her face. Tears fell from her eyes as she saw her boy infront of her.

"My boy, my sweet boy" she murmured.

"Luca" she added.

"Mother" his cold voice spoke which made her hand flinch when it was about to caress his defined cheeks.

His eyes softened slightly when he say her saddened smile and tears roll down her cheeks. Her heart pained seeing how her son was towards her but unknown to her, Luca's heart throbbed when he saw her state. Especially since he's the one who made her like that.

He couldn't help but reach her hand which was about to fall mid way. His rough hands felt cold yet it warmed her heart seeing her son putting them on his face.

*Flashback*

"You did what? You made a mistake, do tell me father cheating mother is a mistake?hm please do explain what the fuck you were thinking huh!" Luca shouted at the end with an enraged face and stood up to his father.

Luckily the father and son were inches away. Germian who had gone to the bar was drinking away the drama. He hated this shit. He was pissed yet the one who let things go. As he saw his elder brothers enraged face he gulped the last whisky and slowly approached behind him staring at their father.

Roberto had an expressionless face , inside his heart hurt knowing the pain he was about to give them. But the fact he lied to his children hurt as it would make him seem the villain yet he didn't care anymore. His sins were catching up. All he thought about was his brocken family and the daughter he never raised.

Thinking about her tore him up even more.

"Calm down boy, I am still your fat--

"Fuck! Hah! Father please fuck this shit" Germian spoke interrupting Roberto.

"Your a fuckinh coward! You fucking cheated on mom! Your the reason why were so fucked up 'father' " Germian added

"I can't-FUCK" Germian kicked the table and strode away.

They all knew the classical drama that was about to approach. They didn't want to hear more lies. They knew their father cheated and that's all that mattered. He left them motherless. It was his fault,
they thought.

Roberto shook his head with a blank face and was about to walk back up the stairs when Bria pulled his arm.

"Papa" she said softly Nodding her head towards the other two men.

Leo couldn't even look at anyone. He felt ashamed. All he did was blame their mother. A part of him still blames her for leaving them but another part, the big one feels sadness. He didn't want to blame her.

Luca glared at his father and strode upstairs, the other way so he didn't go past Roberto knowing he would stop him.

Roberto sighed looking at the only boy who didn't even glance at him. He kissed Bria's forehead and tapped her shoulder walking back to his study.

Bria only stared at her fathers saddened back. A treacherous tear fell down. She loved her father to much. She knew even with the mistake he made how much he still loved their mother. He slept with a picture under his pillow every night, always whispering a goodnight to her. On their anniversary he would drink himself into sorrows, staring at Maria's pictures and crying alone in his study. Only Bria knew as the rest only came to their father when it was important. It was like the were just employers.

But she knew they would die for one another. Their family was still strong.

Bria felt sad the men didn't let Roberto explain even though it wouldn't be what they want to hear it was still an explanation. That alone made her feel sorry for Roberto. They didn't even care to listen to him.

She looked towards her brother who had his back to her. She walks towards him slowly and noticed he had his eye on something. A paper in his hand. No, it was a photograph.

Of her. Their mother.

The strong woman wept silently in her heart.

Sitting on his bed Luca growled and threw shit around. This was unlike him. But the rage he felt at his cowardless father couldn't compare.

Throwing things about, he saw his room was trashed but something happened. Something he forgot about. The secret place.

His and his mother's.

Their secret place was behind a mirror hanging on the wall. As the mirror was now smashed into pieces and it's frame broken on the floor he saw the wall paper slid down and a little wooden creak.

Their was something their. He put his hand through and found a paper wrapped in dust.

As he saw his name on the outing of the letter he froze realising the writing was familiar.

It was a letter.

He tore it open and read the contents. He couldn't help but let his emotions show as he read the letter sadness, grief,  annoyed, rage, but most of all pain.

For her.
