Note:

Y/N in this story was previously bit but didn't turn into a halfbie or a full zombie, instead got super healing. (Injuries heal in seconds.) Y/N knows Gwi-nam already.

Running. Something I hate so much yet am so good at.

Zombies try biting at me as I run down the bloodied hallways. I avoid their mouths in every way possible, ranging from ducking, jumping, and even sliding. Exhausting work, doing such things for hours on end.

Nowhere was safe. From what I had seen so far, everyone had turned. I round a corner and shove the closest door. It surprisingly opens, causing me to crash onto the floor. As soon as I recollect myself, I whip around to shut the door. My palms linger on the door as a breathe in and out, trying to steady myself.

"Y/N?"

I turn around quickly, not recognizing the voice at first. My eyes meet the person that spoke and I immediately remember them. Gwi-nam sits up from one of the chairs in the room and I half run to him so I can hug him. Reluctantly, he hugs back. Repositioning myself, I comfortably lay against him. I figure Gwi-nam was comfortable as well, considering no protest was heard.

We don't exchange words, only sit comfortably. I enjoy his presence, happy to not be alone with the situation outside. Not much later, my eyelids grow heavy and I drift off to sleep.
