Ash and Y/n

The station

I am at the police station my father has just gotten arrested and I couldn't really care less about him. He treated me like a stray dog who was just stupid in the head. A police officer walks up to me and says " Y/n Perez?" "I am right over here sir" I say concerned. " Your father is going to prison for five years, and since you are not an adult, is there anybody you could maybe go to to stay at?" The officer ask. "MY MOM! HER NAME IS SONIA PEREZ!" I said really fast, I was just really scared they would give me to some random people or maybe put me in foster care, my father always said he was going to give me up for adoption, but I never believed him because he would then have no one to maintain the house and do bs for him. "Ok ok don't worry I will give her a call and tell her about the situation and see if she will like to take you."
"Ok thank you so much Mr....?" " James, my name is James sweet heart stay in this area here is $5 go get something from that vending machine" He said as he handed me the money. " James, thank you James I really appreciate this" I said with a smile on my face. "No problem kiddo" he replied while giving a little laugh. I walk over to the machines I was actually really hungry because it was 2 am and I hadn't eaten dinner because I was doing homework.  While I was walking over there I saw a little kid cry and I looked over and saw a little toddler on the floor balling his eyes out and a mom who which looked like she really needed some coffee or a nap or maybe just for the kid to shut up. "brats, poor mom" i scoffed and rolled my eyes with a little bit of sympathy in my throat. But then I accidentally ran into a guy, he had dark hair with dark eyes, a brow cut, and two tats, and he had the most heart warming smile. "Oh my gosh I am so sorry are you okay let me help you up" He said with a worry in his voice. He helped me up and we made eye contact for like ten seconds. After that my face turned completely red. And I quickly looked away to make it seem not  obvious enough that I thought he was cute.  He lifted my chin back up to him and asked if I was ok or if I was hurt. " N-n-nnoo I-im all good" I stuttered. "Good didn't want that pretty face of yours to get hurt, and let me pay what do you want" he said while looking at me then looking at the machine. "No no it's totally fine, if anything I should be the one buying something for you I was the one who crashed into you anyways" I said with a smile while I was still blushing. " Nope" he said, he then put true money in the machine and got some potato chips. " Here you go the original" he said as he winked at me and handed them to me. "Awe thank you so much!" " so what is your name?" He said with a little smile on his face. "Oh it's Y/.." I was about to say my name but then "Sh*t!!" He said "what?! WHATS WRONG?!?" I asked confused "I am supposed to be in the car!!" He ran off. "WAIT I DIDN'T GET UR NAME?!?" I yelled so he could hear me.  "ITS ASH!!" He yelled back to me with a smile. Ash-ash, why does that name sound so familiar I thought to myself. But I had some extra cash since that "ash" guy had got me some food, I decided to get the poor mom some coffee. I got it and gave it to her, and she said "thank you so much sweet heart you have no idea how bad I needed this!" No worries ma'am. But that kid was still crying so I looked at him and then looked at my chips and then looked back at the kids, I had only hand about 13 chips out of the whole bag and it was a larger bag so I just gave it to the kid so he would shut up and stop crying But then the cop came up behind me " Your mother  Sonia Perez, is on her way with a women named Madeline Perez." "Oh ok thank you so much" I said, I was so excited, but I didn't know a Madeline, so I was really confused until I noticed it was Maddy! About 20 minutes they had got to the station
