Techno didn't know how long they had been searching. He and Wilbur had been out in the snow storm all night and still no luck. He was beginning to lose hope. Wilbur kept glancing at him, worried that at any moment, he would break down. So, he carried on. He didn't want to seem weak in front of his brother. "So..." Techno drawled to break the tense silence. "How's life in Las Nevadas treating you?" (In case you haven't read my other story, I ship Wilbur and Quackity so, there are some hints to that as well.) Wilbur looked surprised. "It's great, I like being apart of something and making a difference." Slim r filled the air again but, it was less tense.

"Hey, look over there!" Wilbur said, pointing to a large cave. Techno's eyebrows raised. "That was not here when I last checked." His eyes met Wilbur as he grabbed his enchanted axe from his inventory. They stopped and peered into the yawning darkness. There was a light coming from deep within the cave and Techno didn't waste any clim making his way towards it. Wilbur followed him however, he was more cautious. Their steps echoed through the cave. Well, if whoever is here didn't know we were here, they do now techno thought as they continued down a cobblestone path. It was getting easily to see and Techno began to move faster, causing Wilbur to fall behind a little.

Wilbur had never seen his brother so worried before. This kid must really mean a lot to him he thought to himself as he picked up the pace. But, something not right, it shouldn't t be this easy. It's like we're being lured to a trap, like a game of cat and mouse. Wilbur came to a conclusion that made him shudder. We are the prey in this scenario and the cat is on the hunt. Just watching in the shadows for the perfect time to strike.

Dream knew that Techno and Wilbur had found his little hideout. But, he had already done everything that he needed to do. The little brat sat in a corner of the cage, sniffling and shaking. And if Dream had an piece of a heart, he would feel bad. But, all he felt was contentment. He had done what he needed to do. All that was left was to tango with the Blood God himself. After telling the kid all about his family's deepest, darkest secrets, he doubted that the kid would want to go back with Techno. It would destroy Techno. And while Techno is mourning the loss of his son, Dream would be free to do whatever he wanted. Dream smiled, it's good to be a god.
