"You always do this Changbin. You make mistakes, we have to fix your shit. You apologize and then we stupidly believe you just for you to make the same mistakes again and the cycle repeats!" Changbin had sunk himself into the couch as he listened to his parents tell him everything he's doing wrong.

His hands were tucked into his hoodie pockets and his hood was pulled up. His feet pulled to his chest as he kept his head down. "We love you Bin, but you can't keep doing this. You just got threatened to be expelled if you do something like this again! You're lucky it's break or else I don't know what we would do!"

He listened as they went on and on. They weren't exactly wrong. Changbin found himself on the bad side of school. His future wasn't a priority, his grades wasn't his biggest concern, he was just not affected by it at all.

Once his parents had gotten tired of talking they left to go their separate ways. Changbin remained on the couch. His head was hung low. He finally got up and walked towards the door of their apartment building. His parents paid no mind. They knew he was either gonna go to the playground a few blocks away or the roof. The roof was his safe place. Ever since they moved to Seoul, he's been going up to the roof to clear his head. They let him because they dragged him away from his friends and his home so giving him a bit of freedom was their solution, having it backfire like this wasn't part of the deal.

Changbin slowly climbed the stairs to the roof. His head was tuck in his thoughts , Stuck on his parents words. He knew he had to change, he wanted to change, but he just didn't have the energy. He lost all his energy every-time he tried to put effort into anything.

Once he reached the door he opened it. Thankfully, no one was up there. He walked towards the ledge and sat down. Plugging his headphones he clicked play on a random song.

He was so lost in thought and he didn't hear when the door to the roof opened and slammed shut.
