~Recap~

Canada picked up, "Hello? mom? why are you calling so early?" I grew a bit nervous, "Somethings come up with Britain, I have to go back to his home but I need someone there with me." there was a pause on the phone,

"Sure mom, what time?"

I sat outside my car tapping my foot slightly impatiently, where is Canada? I opened my phone and checked for any notifications, but there were none. rolling my eyes, I looked back at his home and huffed, of all days to be unprepared!

The door opened and a familiar Racoon hat entered my vision. I put my phone away and sat up, "Canada! You're late." he sighed, quickly walking down from his porch and over to me. "yes, yes, I know that. I'm still confused about why we need to go over to... his house." My eyebrows furrowed, "I'll explain everything during the ride there, alright?"

He nods and opens up my car to get inside, I follow suit. Once inside, I started up the car and it revved up for a moment. There was beeping for a second, I heard Canada buckle the seatbelt and it stopped. I backed out of my driveway and then started driving on the open road. The silence felt restricting. I looked in the mirror, adjusting it, trying not to be too obvious.

I cleared my throat to catch Canada's attention, "America came by the other day, he said Britain was acting extremely off." Canada lifted a brow, "How so?" I paused again, trying to think of the right words to describe it. we were on the highway now, soon we'd be turning off the road. "He was acting... Very nervous, there was a belt in his kitchen." Canada store confusedly up at the mirror so he could catch my gaze,

"Why would he have a belt?"

I sighed, "I don't know Canada... his antiques were also strangely cleaned."

I peered in the mirror to see Canada thinking, and fiddling with his hands. "Don't overthink it though... he could have just, lost track of time again?" Even I knew that didn't sound right, but I continued on the road. I made a left turn and started going down the same path I had just been on a few days ago. "Mom... You're gripping the wheel..." I looked down and realized I had been gripping my wheel, I quickly loosened my grip.

"You don't want to go there, do you?" Canada asked hesitantly. I hadn't really wanted to go, but something was off. "... No, I don't really want to Canada... but I just know something is off." I heard him sigh, "It'll be fine, your probably right. he might've just.. mixed time up I guess." I nodded and kept focusing on the road, the car was silent again.

Trees surrounded us, and more came into view as the road looked less repaired. I looked out the window from time to time, hoping his house wasn't actually that far in. "Was he talking about anything else?" Canada asked. I nodded, "Yeah... he said he had a rat problem in his basement, he also gave America some old tea."

Canada nodded and looked out the window, watching as the surroundings changed. Eventually, the trees grew thinner and from the side of my eyes I could see his mansion. I looked up in the mirror and saw Canada staring back. Just a visit. "... Ready?" He nodded.

I pulled up into the driveway and turned my car off. Canada got out first and got my door for me, I thanked him and locked the car. We both nervously walked up the pathway to the front door. Once we were there, I knocked on the front door and waited. we didn't hear anything until he was close to the door.
