Chapter 1: Lethal.

"You're lucky I need you, otherwise you would be dead by now."

"Like wise, let's just get this job over with."

"The client is suppose to be a higher up, so let's not screw this up." I comment making sure there is no funny business.

"Tell that to yourself, everyone knows about your last job." The snarky replies begin.

"Don't get me started, I will do the delivery due to you being new."

"What! But I want some fun too!"

"You can have fun on the jobs that aren't H.U.s!" I claim whilst grabbing the crate of milk from the back seat.

A sigh of defeat was heard, "fine, the milk is ready, correct?"

"Yes, I made sure of that before we left." I reassured.

"Well, let's get this over with." He spoke in a shallow tone.

Walking into the building I could already tell this was a expensive one. There was a red carpet just at the entrance. It seemed as if every lamp was made of gold (probably fake), the chandelier was brighter then the sun, the music being played was coming from an old antique CD player. I was scared to touch anything. I held onto the crate of milk in my arms.

"Excuse me, how may I help you?" A lady seeming to work at the fancy building questioned.

"Uhm, I was told to deliver milk to 210. Do you know were that might be..?"

"Oh! That is on the 3rd floor. The elevator is right over there." The lady finished whilst pointing to my left which showed an elevator that was probably able to hold a whole band.

"Thank you! I will be on my way now." I stated whilst heading to the elevator.

The way to the 3rd floor wasn't any hassle. The 210 room was at the end of the hall causing me to have to walk more then I would like.

I couldn't help but be nervous. The thought of my last job just made me regret being the one to deliver. I knocked with no answer. I didn't hear movement, noise, anything... it was as if... no one was in it.

I knocked again in an attempt to get an answer. After a few more tries there was finally an answer.

"The doors unlocked, please come in!" The voice gave me chills. It felt... unreal.

Palms sweating I began to open the door handle. With my mind being filled with anxiety about the last job I didn't think. I did what no one should do, I walked straight in after opening the door. A big mistake of mine.

Everything went black...
